Worth buying if you thought the other latest ones were good becauses its improved in gameplay and graphics and you can do alot more fun stuf online and record and edit your videos but it seems to me that people just play it to skate around so think about what i said....

underground are you kidding me? project 8 for ps systems are awesome they kind of made it weird with 360 version. and the tony hawk that pwned all was tony hawk pro skater 3 great sound track cool tricks and easy to play and keeps you busy for hours.

LOL
I said I liked all of them UP TO
Underground
(that means 1,2,3 and 4)
what I liked most in Underground
was the classic lvls
from Pro Skater 2

It was..awfull..
(lol decent music though)

2 and 3 where great
I only played the PS1 version of 4 (yes...it was on PS1!!)
and it was ok

Underground was...just...awsome
one of my all time favorite goals
was the THPS challenge
you have to score points (based on what difficulty you got it on)
let's just say for the hell of it
2,000 points
only by using THPS 1 tricks (all other tricks are disabled)
then only by using THPS 2 tricks (same)
then THPS 3 tricks (same)
then with THPS 4 (same)
then with all the tricks
it get's pretty hard...

I was talking about Underground 1
idk about 3 and 4
I mostly played 2 and Underground (hence why I liked the classic lvls so much)
I also like using that Buggy on the KISS stage
lol
classic...

as a skater myself 8) ( i suck at it :( ) i say nay
theres to many things that are wrong with tony hawk games
pro skater was perfect but once it hit underground. there were to many fake things about it like the gravity and tricks. also the fact that you have to ollie then do whatever trick you have to do is bull. also the fact that your skater starts out knowing every trick in history and the ones that are impossible to do (nattas spin :-@ ) just takes all the fun out. not only that but they just copy and pasted underground on to the rest of the games and put better graphics on it saying its different from the others is bullshet. \-/o \-/o \-/o \-/o \-/o \-/o \-/o \-/o \-/o \-/o \-/o \-/o

shame on you tony hawk [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X

so no

So the story line is as bad as project 8 then?  Underground 1 and american wasteland had the best stories.  I wanted to know if the new one was anything like those.  If not im just gonna get "Skate".

i think it depends on what type of character you pick but its mostly about your a new skater trying to be big

Honestly, I'm done with THPS games. Like Negi, I loved them up until Underground. THPS4 was my fav, just the soundtrack and feel of it. I wanna knoa how SKATE plays, now that game looks awesome.

I stopped playing at American Wasteland cause no one wanted to play anymore because they couldn't beat me, but mainly I quit because of the online mode...too many people hacked the crap out of that game. Infinite combos and being able to fly kinda killed it for me.

Yup  :w00t:. Underground had the best story. They should make a game in the future that has every single Tony Hawk game in it. Like THPS 2X.

Yeah underground was the last Tony Hawk game I bought,I rented all the others but they just didn't seem worth the purchase.
