Went last night to see it, and was very impressed, I didn't really have any high hopes, but damn, that was one hell of a movie! Slow beginning, but when the action kicked in...

For me, it was the best...vampire...movie...PERIOD.

If you get a chance to go see it, I recommend this movie!

Well it can't be worse than Blade. The first one made me sleepy, the Blade 2 was awesome though! I never seen Blade Trinity yet though.

I think so. Blade, to me, can get a little over the top...this was less flashy, but that just made the effects hit that much harder. Those vampires where so grimy! Not to mention some of the ugliest humanoid things I've seen.

EDIT:
It's supposed to be a new twist on the vampire. So if it's a little off, that was actually the intention of the movie...new twist on an old, and drawn out, theme.

im not a hater, im jus more into the original classics, and a big dracula fan. 20 years from now no one is gonna care about this movie. and a hater is a person who hates for no reason for example "this movie is gay just cause it is and i said so" i jus dont like it cause im big into classic vampire movies and styles.
