NYC J&L GAME TRADING STORE: New location

I forgot to mention this a couple months back but they moved from Chinatown and they have been at their new 6th avenue location since about May. New spot looks great and its way bigger than the one they had in china town 

The new Address:

1026 6th Avenue between 38 & 39 (more close to 39th street)
open week days and weekends (saturday). 1030 AM-830 PM

You can take the F or D train to 42 street and walk over a few blocks.




This is the place i grew up going to for all my Import & american gaming needs since HS days for ages now. Its been THE best video game store in NYC. Yes..this is the same store i depend on to get certain games early before everyone else in other stores. So go and support the store! Also the only major change is that you have to pay tax now. Before when they were in chinatown you didnt have to which was a huge plus unlike game stop n such. So since the 6th avenue spot they cant do that anymore BUT the prices and the old and new and USED gaming items you'll find there are still awesome....They Fix Certain game systems like PS3 too....if you get cool with them you may get some other perks as well that they dont mention to most customers

I'm loving the wider space. Obviously, it's not a big change, just a longer commute. But it's good to see they're still in business.

I still haven't stopped in there yet. I only knew about it for a few months and now they changed location

@Hypnotize: At least they dont have stuff on the floor like before because they didnt have any room right? Me and the OG asian slim guy (with the limp) was laughin about that the last time i was there.

yeah they were in china town for EONS. since the 80s. I knew those guys since i was a teenager. Im glad they got a new come up on 6 ave. i just hope they ride for another 20 years er so. 6 ave is kinda pricey so i hope the traffic keeps pumpin. Ya gotta check the new spot when ya can
