Have to go with MSM. I seriously think that it should be a main release feature if it is put into non-beta phase.

Also FF3, because it is invaluable. VSS gets a rest on votes this year, although it saves me hours of time in my obsessive alphabetizing.

no, I am very serious about that. Just think about what I said and you will understand. What is more helpful to the community? A patch or a tool to work in Mugen 1.0?

So, just because I do not agree with your opinion...you were expecting more from me? How funny. o.O#

Ok, lets take 2 steps back.... Reason why I said it is because it seems like you have a problem with patching in general . Yes you are entitled to state your opinion on the matter, but you state it every time you see people liking what me and Infinite release or better yet for this vote for contribution of the year. Because you came in and said the same thing last year and now again this year. So by now, one would think you've gotten your point across yet you continue to knock the very thing that me and Infinite do every time you see others are liking it. And I just feel like that isn't cool nor is it a way to be the bigger and better mature person about it. I would like for Infinite to win but I'm not gonna be mad if he doesn't either, same thing if it was me. But you won't find me stating sarcastic and "mocking like" comments towards what someone else released like what they do isn't worth crap just cus its an edit because at the end of the day its still a contribution to mugen. And its just not that serious at all cus mugen is for fun.

I see what you mean in what your saying, Fighter Factory is more valuable to mugen point blank, but the people who like the patches are the ones who voted for them so we can't help it if they did. And to me, I said I thought you were better than that because I used to respect you a lot, and it just kinda sucks that you hate what I do....  And I want you to know that I appreciate everything you do for this community, really I do and I would like for this little tension between us to end. Your top dog hands down, but where I draw the line is when you try to make it seem like what I do is nothing compared to something else. And it may in fact not be,  but you didn't have to point it out like the way you did. But its whatever dude, I just wanted to speak on that matter....

i think you make a great point. . . but i never heard of msm, don't use ff and i think vselect is awesome. and i'm not voting for what i think is most important, i'm voting based off of personal use. i use reezy's patches everyday, so, that's why i voted for the patch.

You got everything wrong, sorry. Like we say where, I am responsive for what I say, not for what you understand.

There are some flaws in your logic, let me point you:

- first, you are mixing you with Infinite. You guys are two different people, so there is no reason to use the same logic to two different people. I can have different opinions about different person.

- second,

yes, I don't like patches, in most case, because there are so many lazy patches like adding OMFG FX = new char. But I NEVER said that patches did by Infinite were like that ( I can't say about you because I don't remember downloading a char done by you).

If you don't believe me, ask to Inifinite if I haven't asked authorization to use some content from him. Even better, I can show you the PMs:

HI there, Ilusionista here, how are you?

I would like to know if you let me use part of your Infinity T.Hawk (btw, great work) on my Mexican Typhoon (my version of this char) from Spec Ops?

Proper credits will be given, for sure.

Hi. Sure, you can use anything you want. Thanks

So, think about what I showed to you: If I really think that "patches sucks" and "What infinite does is nothing compared to other things", how in the hell I would REQUEST to use his stuff??? I would beeing hypocritem wouldn't I?

Got it now?

You are making a mountain out of a molehill...

ps: but, in the end, I was beeing rude. my apologies

but everyone is free to understand what he wants to.

After that, this subject is over and done for me.

I never said you think my stuff is crap or anything. I was just saying that you have said on a few occasions, that you  don't think I should be nominated for contribution of the year. I agree with that, but if people nominate/vote for me I don't control that and I am not trying to either. I really don't care/need/want this award.

Correct, my name was not mentioned, but it's quite clear you were talking about me being nominated last year for the same thing, seeing as I was the only one being nominated for patches. I AGREE THAT I SHOULDN'T BE NOMINATED FOR CONTRIBUTION OF THE YEAR.

Or you don't know what semantics means or you are using a soft way to call me liar, or I was giving an innuendo or dropping you a hint. Either way, you are f**k*** wrong.
First, because semantics doesn't means that. Second, that I don't have two words: what I say, I sustain.

I think everyone who knows me already knows the fact I am a very straightfoward guy, and say what I want directly, not using "semantics". I am pretty more direct than that.

I have balls enough to, if I thing you should not be nomitaded, to say INFINITITE SHOULD NOT BE NOMITATED. Peridod.
I do not hold my tongue when I need to say something, be sure of that.

I said that Patches don't be nominated, never said YOU should not be nominated. I am aware that you don't do only patches, so your whole argument is invalid.

But, if you want to play the victim role and say "oh, the bad Ilu is telling I should not be nominated", then go ahead, be my guest. Just don't stab my back.

In all fairness, if I was the only patch maker who threw my name in front of someone elses creation being nominated, I would think it was directed at me. But, I just want some info on msm.

Yeah Ref, i wanna check out this MSM myself. when i get this new pc imma dl it and roll through it to see what its all about.

On the topic of Patches for Contribution of the Year:

No need for argueing fellas.  Its all up to the admins on that .   ::salute::

Personally:
I view Patches as a useful file extention in coding to do more work to characters that are already created, edited or whatever. Before you would get just a file to input in. now with Infinite Characters, they come fully fused with alot of actual coding work ( i can attest to that myself) he does himself and gives the characters more content then the previous versions for whoever likes them in his style he does.  they are now more than just Patched works. They are edits to me now than when he first started. no more or less than what i have seen alot of people have done and are doing. I would say have a seperate award for Patches, there are still some people around that do them here and there. but since there isnt alot more than i guess the Admins chose him for a COTY nomination spot because he does do contributiong work for mugen players enjoyment that like his versions. If all one has to do is update a tool from last years even a slight porportion to a huge one, then those very same tools will always be selected. i think its cool to throw in something different but yet its viewd a figure as a contributors contribution.  so NO need to fight fellas or the mugen god powers of moderating with get you all! :-SS

but:

Cybasters stage tool and tunglashors visual select screen tool are freaking awesome! ^:)^
I Must check out MSM , Lando is Intrigued! @-)

It would really be helpful if someone made a tutorial for that.

It would really be helpful if someone made a tutorial for that.

there is a portuguese translation, but its still not user friendly.

I will try to get it and make a tutorial

there are some info at the topic:
Quote
mugen.exe  --> don't use it directly
MugenStoryMode.exe --> This is the one you use to play

MugenSagaCreator.exe and MugenStoryCreator.exe ->  These Two are for create and design stories not to play

MSMDebugger.exe -> These one is exactly like mugen story mode but you can freely move through story chapter without passing it, i create this so if you are creating a story of 37 chapters when you add the chapter 38 , don't pass again the first 37 ... xd , is supposed you need to encrypt the stories with the MugenStoryMode.exe and this one aren't going to be available on released games

MugenMoleboxReleaser.exe -> This one is for encrypt your game

MSMConfigurator.exe -> General configuration of the program (Modifies MSMConfig.dat and MSMConfigRelease.dat)

MSMConfiguratorPublic.exe -> A configurator with only the language and video options available (Only modifies MSMConfig.dat), is used by the encrypter, for a released game so only the basics options can be changed
