DC Nation on Cartoon Network

Looks like we're getting a whole lot of DC (mostly Batman) on Cartoon Network. Not only are we getting more Young Justice and the new CGI Green Lantern series (BTW I saw the pilot and it's actually pretty good), but we're getting a whole mess of "DC Shorts".

Though I gotta be honest, many of them look really cruddy. LEGO Batman, a weird-*** Plastic-Man series, and a bunch of other uninteresting Batman based stuff (I know he's popular but Satan Lucifer, give Bruce a break ... no not THAT kind of break.)

Remember when we use to have great shows like Batman TAS, Justice League Unlimited, and Static Shock? Now we have THIS crap. I'm not talking about YJ or CGI Lantern, I mean these stupid and tedious shorts that I'm sure will drive everyone crazy with anger

...

One of the shorts is a continuation of Teen Titans?

Man, you're right. Static Shock, Teen Titans, Justice League (especially the older ones, before Unlimited), Batman TAS, Batman Beyond, and Superman TAS, just to name some of the best.

I haven't even tried the new ones, CN got rid of Toonami and lost me as a viewer. I have heard good things on Young Justice, though.

Funny, I rather enjoyed Unlimited.

Be sure to check out Young Justice (and the GL pilot whilst you're at it). It's a pretty good show.

I liked Unlimited, I just preferred regular.

Is YJ like Teen Titans, sort of?

Not quite sure how to answer that.

I guess in some ways both shows have their similarities, but YJ I would describe as being more serious and less anime-like. Although I think some of Teen Titans' episodes have better writing.
