Well I have never seen'd a Tekken game where you can't unlock characters of the main series, and I hope and guess they keep that Tekken tradition that you have to unlock characters

Great observation man. i am also hoping the same thing. it gives the game that extra replay value and staying power
Plus i too am always game to try and beat a fighting game certain ways to unlock new chars. IT keeps me interested and it makes me want to play the game more.

Tekken 6. I think all characters are unlocked in it.

yeh i have that game. and yeh true in campaign mode in order to get them you have to beat them

Even though I was sorely disappointed in Super Street Fighter IV, I feel like this game could be really epic. However, with everything going on near its release, I feel as though no one is really going to care about this game, which is a shame but understandable as it does just look like Super Street Fighter IV with Tekken characters

i have to disagree with ya bro. This game is looking like it could be a Killer ! It actually looks a lil different than what i got in SSF4AE. The designs are tighter in these characters too. Tekken so far has transitioned very well in the SF4 engine big time. Its still a ways off from release and more characters are coming. The only people IMO that wont get this game, are die hard Tekken fans only that dont like SSF4 2d style play. But i bet you they buy the Tekken x Street Fighter version!

i for one will have both versions. this will soak up

of my time from SSF4AE.

WELL!!

I attended the Capcom fight club location here in NY today with one of the homies off the humble to see whats up. I got to play SF X T!!!

the game is hot in my opinion

. i thought i would do bad not doing any supers or tag ins since im not that strong on the Arcade stick but did my thang heavy duty!!

. The spots had monitors (big and medium) for SF3, SF x T & UMVC3 (i saw a lot of folks choosing nemesis and strider).

But i did well... won two matches

. SF3..Smfh,,,i played like an old man and lost

. SF X T the moves are hella easy to pull off. sometimes it seemed like it was automatic with the tag ins at times after a fluryy of combos and then the pop up hit. The supers are wild dramatic seriously. even when they lose. Yes it has that TEKKEN vibe on animation personalities in the game. the videos do it no justice

You have to play for yourself and see it up close. I chose Ken and kazuya..wow i had fun with them two. I comboed the hell out of some dude i was against with kazyua

. Guile has a nice close punch to high upper cut combo. The game is fast man. i thought it would be slow but nah its hot. The tag in supers and assists are crazy and come out like water. and they are hella chainable. Two kinds. the super tag team chain together and then the mugen style CPU assist sh*t it seemed like. at some points its like 4 fighters on the screen brawling it out! haha it looks wild upscale on some mugen sh*t. Hugo?? my god man the dude is a MONSTER!! Huge is a understatement. He deals damage. please i hope no one cries about that. when you see his size it makes sense. but him and the that brawler dude from Tekken (big bald guy forgot his name) together is a problem man

Raven is just straight Ryu Hyabusha all over the damn place. hes a mean team with either yoshimitsu or that indian chick from tekken. i seen a real good user hold them for a minute rockin folks!

too much to explain but ill say this, im not skeptical anymore about the game and the stages are hella flashy. Especially hugos at night. i mean wow

Im just glad all these games are coming out this year so that i wont want the game that much. its hot IMO and more fun than ssf4 as far as keeping my attention and not being bored playing alone or versus people.

. I was like damn NOW I WANT THE DAMN GAME :'(

. But from what i saw its like a major super KO when you have two people together in any situation. Super hit or normal hit finish. and a different ko when you ko a person alone. normal FX flash. Unless its a super. its pretty FX flashy. everything is. The combos of EVERYBODY is out there man. on the fly chainable easy. no one is safe!! the game is juicy like a well cooked and prepared burger. once you play and burp youre like "Dayum...that was f*ckin good man

". game is hella technical, dramatic and fast.

I just realized I like the 'Zoomed out' camera, it makes the characters smaller, just like in good old 2D games.

The Chun-Li v Guile/Kazuya fight was so bad.

yeh i seen way better matches than that when i was at the fight club. But yeh man the Character quotes and expressions are really amusing. seems they had fun doing that. i think ono and the tekken dude had to be drinking beers standing next to the developers and just buggin out with them. When you play the game you can see each character has some strong ingame personality traits. which i like a lot^^

Yeh the zoom in and out feature is pretty tight seeing up close. everything be zinging man. pretty entertaining game

Hmmm, things that caught my attention:
- bottom bars are screaming for good old numbers near them if they remain this small;
- 3D models instead of pictures in select screen - modders would be gratefull (ie change model, no need to draw new portrait to fit it);
- small portraits are indeed small, looks like they're planing put full SSF4 and T6 rosters(or most of them), with standart roster(hopefully), with DLC(like this less, but oh well, they want more money), with Super-Duper-Ultra-MegaSFxT Perfect-Arcade-Console-Giga-Edition sortly after SFxT release(and then even blind capcom belivers would be enraged, hope that will not happen ever);
- models used for the game probably same of SSF4 and T6, maybe bit more detalized(didn't noticed) and with some new fx, so probably they'll make this game fast - adjusting mechanics, writing small storylines, deciding which moves to use for specials/hypers from T side and making new stages is probably all they need to do. It's much faster then creating original chars and even more faster then creating new fighting game;
- gameplay looks neet, I want this game and I want it for PC
