I've been hearing mixed numbers on this, 2000,3000,4000. Whats the number? My local news station said that the birds had cases of head trauma and blood clots.

While I'm not freaking out, nor will i, I'm more interested in finding out what caused it. The station went on to report that the Blackbirds might of been scared due to fireworks. But I 'd hard cause I know that wouldn't cause blood clots. Guess I'll wait and see what else comes up.

yeah i heard it was 5000.... just who are the number analysts on how many birds actually died and really from what? cause the excuse they gave still has me like ...

My stations all say around 5000 birds. They also say that some of the fish were found alive.
