yeh he does but he based it off of this design.



Although he looks more like Trevor's design   in Castlevania: Curse of Darkness who you can unlock to use.

I hope he fights like a Basara X char with some strikers.

Kinda like how Neat Unsou Mugen Basara X chars are

Pretty awesome sprites. His sub-weapon attacks are alright, just seem kind of awkward.

Like instead of throwing the Holy Water to the ground it just looks like he is clumsily dropping it. Oh, and the super moves look quite awful. Especially since the character moves with the projectiles when pushed, it doesn't make much sense. I haven't looked through the character's file or anything but I assume his super move sprites are just bunched together as opposed to having the Hydro Storm rain drops and Axe sprites separate projectiles.  :|

Other then that there isn't much in-depth input I can give. I guess for a basic MVC style character he plays pretty good.

They are part of his sprites, ala Warner.  Who needs to take the time and learn how to program a helper when you can draw it on the character itself?   :o

Ill say it like this. i can see what you were trying to do. i like the effort of the sprites you really laid down with him. You can go a bit further with this character for more depth. Flame whip EX style special etc. Whirl wind whip super. Maybe a super move like that Wonderwoman character that swings you around. Possibly a jump air swing like spider man to kick you into the wall and have a wallhit custom hit. The possibilties can go very far. id say also look at a video battle of Trevor belmont when hes fighting in Castlevania Curse of Darkness. Im a huge castlevania fan so ideas i woulda had like crazy for em lol


The judgment im giving this char is an "A". Why? The sprites alone and his movements are on point man. Your coding talent is limited right now and thats the only reason why much wasnt done with the character i can tell. i have a ton of ideas of what you can do with him. If you are up to giving em an updated version in the future when you learn more about coding you should take another stab at em seriously :) Youre on to somethin bro!

Great use of a Cable base! Limited on the moveset but that can easliy be made up with futher updates.

I think it would be really cool if he had an alternate 8-bit version. I just have a soft-spot for the old NES Simon.
