Umm that's a US bomber. If it was a RAF plane, the insignia would be kinda like a bullseye.

Random Mod why the hate on the US (well its reporters anyway)? I think all reporters from every country would have pride. There is of praise for every country.  How is it possible for a country like the US who isn't that big into soccer have reporters who are more into it and praising the US than such countries like England, Germany and every other country that loves soccer like there is no tomorrow have reporters that aren't into it  and praising their country? I mean this isn't a sport where the US dominates, of course there is gonna be pride, it would suck for them to go "US won...yay.....=|"

Because in Europe they are sick and tired of USA's ego trips.
Some newspaper in the USA: USA won with 1-1 from England!
It has been years that USA played so well, but that doesn't mean that they have to praise the team like they are gonna win the World Cup.
That pretty much gave the reporters a bad name here.
People here in Europe want to see some REAL classic football/soccer with South America vs Europe (and some Asian + African countries) they want the USA to lose anyway .
It's still an achievement for them to come that far in a World Cup.

So I should base a country by its reporters? I am sorry, but none of the coverage I have watched IN THE US had the US going "they are gonna win it all!" All I heard is that "it is a historical match for the US" which it is. So if lets say if a small country that isn't a traditional soccer power won a game against a top team, are you gonna go down on them too if they get excited or you won't cause it is "popular" to hate on the US. England is a soccer powerhouse, a traditional soccer power. Wow a reporter showing pride for their country, lets hate on them and their country. If you base how the US is by its reporters, I guess I should base countries by their fans and yea....it won't be a pretty picture. US fans and their antics in other sports are TAME compared to soccer fans in other countries (and I am in including riots that break out after a team wins in the NBA, NFL, etc) in general. Look up the term hooligan, you get European soccer fans. It is in poor taste to judge a entire nation or hate on a entire nation due to people of that nation reporter, fan, etc being happy that their country won. Again, the US doesn't show up well in the World Cup, so the US beating a traditional power of soccer well make news in the US. Take it from someone who actually lives in the US, all that was said was "it was a historical match". I never heard once from ANY reporter on ESPN or big news network favoring the US to win it all or give great odds for the US to win it all. It is always "they have a shot" which is true at the time. They lost, oh well. Until I see US reporters start rioting and getting arrested and their acts get someone killed like Carlo Picornie (look him up, there is a specific reason why I said this man's particular name) lets not judge or hate on countries especially if all the people are doing is showing pride in their country that isn't rude or disrespectful  and even then, hate on the person and not their country. I don't hate on  Germany or its reporters if they start praising their team or any other country nor should anyone else as well.

tl;dr...nah just kidding, who the heck said I hate USA, it's just that I don't like them being in the World Cup since we are not used to them, maybe we will........later, but for now, some of us here want to see some epic matches with some real powerhouses, can't I have an opinion without someone saying I hate a whole country? :\
I have nothing against USA, only the reporters need to stfu , here in Holland the papers don't write stuff like: Netherlands won with 1-1 from *random country*
We talked with some people who live in the USA, they have been saying that the Usa will win the cup...yeah right hahahaha.


But yeah, it's seems you take this as an insult or something, which leads to endlessly conversations which are boring to me.
Take this from me, someone who lives in Europe, nobody here is waiting for a world cup with USA, not because we hate them, but only because we want to see our country playing or our "neighbours"
