Voice Changing Device
« on: May 28, 2010, 05:50:18 PM »
I want a voice changing device kinda like how Green Arrow has in Smallville.. once he puts on the costume and the glasses his voice all of a sudden gets much lower, and I'm thinking that's because of a device (or some good editing... haha...).... But anyways yeah.. I want one.. BUT IT CAN'T WORK WITH THE PHONE! I don't want one of those... I want one that might look like a headset that will change your voice on the spot... no computer... no phone... Is there one?

Keep in mind if a person is skilled enough they can easily change their own voice without a device. It just takes some practice but there are devices out there that can change your voice. Though I'm sure it just not as simple as having a headset as you would need a means of changing your voice's pitch. A Voice Transformer is always a costly option(they can easily fetch for $300, $400, and even $500 dollars) but you would get professional results.

They used to have cheep ones in like places like walmart or target in the toys, they are megaphone shaped and have settings like robot or alien or monster. It will make your voice sound like a mess for like 20, then you could mod it to be in a helmet or even a headset or part of your costume if your planing on becoming a RLSH

Look at those " spy " toy lines that they carry at target. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a headset with a microphone that changes your voice.

I have a darth Vader voice changer that I bought for $3.00 on clearance. It's a little box that you talk into. There are different setting other than Vader. That might be tough to find though, since it came out during the revenge of the sith movie.
