I can see how this could be a alternate copy of Robotech/Macross, but I'm not seeing how it is similar to gundams or transformers.
Every other "mecha-anime" could be called a copied version of (insert mecha anime here).

But either way, I would still have to congratulate them how their doing CGI animation and still doing the traditional drawing method also.

Ok so yeah things in there look very simular to stuff from other anime, and i read the artical. While ideas and simular looks are being riped off from various things, its differnt enough that its not going to get them sued. Now adays most "new shows and movies" all take bits and peices from other ideas to make it into something differnt.
The people making this show probaly want to give it a feal simular to their favorate shows.
