Elfen Lied is a brutal anime. Its not exactly horror, but  alot of characters get severed from head to toe.

In manga,i should recommend Franken Fran http://www.onemanga.com/Franken_Fran/

Because it's guroish and pure horror in some chapters.

Dead man Wonderland it's filled with suspense,its not exactly Horror Horror,but well...
