Ok,let's post your decks/structure decks you use to play the game.In a post some weeks ago,I just said that i was going back to play,so,well,I started buying packs and cards from an otaku shop here in Caracas....

And I made this deck! (Well,with the Help of two friends and my mom,yes,I know i suck,there are too much new cards and themes out there,getting confused in deck construction/editing IS EASY):

Euthanasia: This deck is focused around the direct damage to your opponent tru healing.Yes,it seems confusing,but sh** works

Ok,here's the thing:

*Bad Reaction to Simochi and Reficule have the same effect (when you actually give your opponent life points for free,it turns into damage),and guess what is the effect of cards like Upstart Goblin and Soul Takers? They give your opponent 1000 LP and they let you activate some useful effect.If you use Bad Reaction to Simochi or Reficuleyour opponent shall lose 1000 LP PER ACTIVATION of those magic cards.Do some calculation and you will see how devastating it is.And if you add Gift Card (A complete "Useless card" ) you can take down almost any deck in 2-3 turns (Gift Card gives your opponent 3000 LP  )

*Allure of Darkness,Mask of Darkness,Cat of Ill Omen,Sangan and Mystic Tomato are good to search for cards you may need further in the game,specially the trap and magic cards I mentioned earlier.

*Giant Germ IS GOD.Use this  little fu**er and you  can tear appart 500 LP from your opponent,Oh,and it can actually summon TWO MORE Giant Germs for moar collateral damage.

*Des Koala + Ceasefire is a complete beast if you use it wisely. 500+ damage + 400+ damage per card in your opponent hand.WIN.


I am right now preparing for the local tournament,wish me luck,and hope some Jinzos and Royal Decrees don't appear.

i wouldn't be worried about Jinzo that much(he rarely sees play) but i would be worried about the following stuff:
*Decree
*Most of the stuff with Lightsworn on its name,including Judgment Dragon
*Black Rose Dragon to wipe out the field
*And last but not least,Skill Drain

Allure of Darkness is semi-limited(that means,two per deck top)

Reficule burn decks are pretty fun to run...

I might post the 2 or 3 decks i've been working on for some time(including my current Blackwing deck and Morphtronic,i had an Alien deck in the making but most of that deck got lost/stolen this past weekend at locals...i was so pissed at losing the 3 synchros the deck abuses the most... )

I hadn't played a tournament in this format yet,so i'll have to see how it works

If you go to locals,try to investigate what decks are commonly played in your area and build a side deck based on that,there are not many burn decks arround there,so it should be fun(For you at least,can't say the same for the opponent)

WOW! SERIOUSLY surprised to see this thread...didn't think anyone in IMG played Yu-Gi-Oh. Well, ironically I actually host local tournaments here in my city in South Texas...though I, myself, am a pretty novice player. I know HOW to play the game, I just don't know how/not used to playing those higher tiered decks. I currently have 2 decks which I actually run: a Cloudian deck that does ok if I get the right draws when I need them...which is usually during the first couple draws >_< and a fairy deck (no NOT counter-fairy...just fairy ) that I am still trying to learn/get used to. I have quite a few other deck ideas in the making, like a boss rush deck using the Gradius and Core cards, a Dragon deck using the newer dragons introduced recently, and even a Wicked Gods deck using the Wicked Avatar that was released in the Shonen Jump magazine last year.

The latest banlist has hit this normal build hard,as i lost the great ability of synchro like a mad man because the limit to BW Gale(you can bring it to the field for free if you have another BW and on top of that,you can half atk and def of an opponent's monster permanently)

@MegaByte: yeah...i'm currently collecting the Gradius cards myself...some of them are pretty old and cannot be obtained that easily,but i got quite a few good ones already
Just a question:do you know if the card Metal Shooter is from a Gradius game or not?i was going to buy it for that reason,but i wasn't sure about it so i got a few useful stuff that will be used for trading...

I'll post my more casually built deck,the Morphtronic deck(based arround electronic appliance like celphones or radios,very underestimated but it can kick butt if built right )

Jinzo is famous and popular in here,the dudes in the shop even sell them for 30bsf (thats like 10 dollars,lol)

I gotta look out for those Lightsworns,i have seen everybody in the internet talking about them,or better,I will try to buy some Light of Destrution packs,hehe.

Since when AoD is limited?...ohhh crap,i gotta find a quick replace soon.

KPT,your Blackwing deck seems pretty good,i am right now seeing their effects in the yugioh wiki,and they PWN hard.

Very much the local tournaments where I live are help in card shops or such,and we apply some rules from newer formats,i am no into Synchro dudes for the moment,and the guys at the shop are aware of that.

Well,Yesterday was the Tournament.

The rules were simple: 40 to 50 cards per deck,15 in the side deck.Only 10 cards were banned,lets say,like the old Raigeki and Witch From the Black Forest,but none Jar monsters.And thats the reason I lost:

Hell,I got Owned,so hard.By.A.14.Year.Old.Boy,in the 2nd round of the semifinals.The boy himself just was handling a Morphic Jar deck and just before I drained all his life points in a massive chain,he just pulled "Vanity Call" and destroyed all the chain,and just after that,I thought He had a weak card (he was just playing Jars since the start of the duel) and he pulled up one Morphic Jar,combined with two cards (Two Card Destructions,I don't remember well) and,I lost by discarding 15 cards.. But anyway,the tournament was fun,I am looking forward the next one

Anyway,AG Gadjiltron Dragon came in the Structure deck Machine's Revolt as the cover card
Good 3000 ATK beater that works well with gadgets(who used to be meta a few years ago,now becoming pseudo-anti meta)

FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUU- it was the Machine themed Structure Deck called "Machine Revolt"!! Very strategical and rare one,you are lucky.

@KPT: There was this young man using an Arcana Force deck.With 3 Raigekis and 3 Mirror Force.Basically,the dude just owned everybody in the tournament.

Yes,they were pretty crazy about that tournament.Because "Old School is cool" WTF.

I am getting in my hands some of the newer packs.Hope I get one Stardust Dragon and one Starburst Dragon-Attack Mode.
