It seems a tad inconvenient for Galactus not being able to turn around, no? :-"

Now that I finally have him in my roster many thanks to Hollow boy :) I have tested him (a lot ;*))) and me personally I think he is quite Awesome the only bad things I can say about him is that something needs to be done about the getting beaten from behind thing and also things get a bit bizzare if you put him against big characters like Apocalypse for example they go into each other and stuff when they move towards eachother dont know if anything can be done about that though :-?? and the only other thing I would recommend changing is his voice I think the 90s fantastic 4 cartoon voice is best personally like in the older mugen versions of him God King would still be a good choice to do his voice I think if you can find and get him to do it that is I am sure he would give you a good voice for him just look at how good buyogs savage hulks voice is :) apart from those few things though he is great in my opinion ;D.

well done Excursion  =D> and thank you :)

 >:-(-|  And Hollow boy yes the Death Note movie is very good in my opinion I would recommend seeing it  sorry for my late reply though I got carried away causing lots of chaos and destruction with Galactus for a while there he he ;D ;*))

I agree with this. God King's vocal performances are pretty good, so this would be a great idea! I do hope that he has equipment to add an echo effect to his voice, for more effect.

learn with mr spidey....

:D I would love to see that in the comics. Spiderman kicking Galactus in the eye repeatedly, lol.

This Galactus is pretty cool visually, but he really needs something to distinguish him from Apocalypse. Maybe replace the Drill move with something completely different, maybe his trademark finger lasers.

Galactus alreay has a replacemet for the drill its that cosmic lazer beam he shoots as he goes arcoss the screen instant death if you're unforntuate to be in the way.
my only complaint is that he wonders off the screen and doesn't come back. you'd think he spotted a planet for consuming or something.
I don't suppose in a future update you could have him use that planet processer ship of his as a level three super huh?

That beam isn't really a replacement. It's the same move with different sprites, it has the same effect and can be avoided the same way. I like this Galactus a lot, he's good, but he needs a little more creativity before he can be truly great.

Nice work. Galactus is a hard char to bring to Mugen given his size difference. I remember seeing this as a sprite edit a long time ago and hoped someone would make it into a wip/release, so thanks for making this happen.

Suggestions:
I can't remember if someone suggested this, but it would be nice to have more or longer attack collision boxes at both the front end of the power cosmic beam and by the hand. The front end doesn't hit, and the end by the hand doesn't either (I mean really close to the hand). I've had characters who are close to the hand slide to the back of Galactus. Maybe Apocalypse had something that blocked this from happening?

To prevent people from hiding behind Galactus, how hard would it be to make the earthquake move go both forwards and backwards? Right now it just goes forwards, but maybe it should be looked at more like a ripple effect that heads out from the epicenter.

Also, would it be hard to have the eyebeams hit someone in the back or even hit them wherever they are?

Anyhow, that's my $.02. Take what's helpful and ignore the rest. Thanks again for working on him.

Galactus is a great character but there are some things about him that make too easy to beat.  It's already been mentioned that going behind him is the easiest strategy for beating him, but there are some characters that can beat him at his max health with one special.  When I fought galactus for the first time I was playing as Silver Surfer v2 as Cosmic Carnage, and all I had to do was use one of his specials that hit both of Galactus's head and hand at the same time and the match was over in an instant.   I would love to see Galactus having a higher life value (of course i could just go into his def file and edit that myself) or having him have some kind of block or counter measures against strong hypers like those.  Maybe giving him a automatic projectile reflector like Motaro (from Mk - MOTARO BY JEHOVANSS) would make things harder for people who like to do spamming projectile attacks.  A special i kind of wish Galactus had is a instant KO special where Galactus walks off the screen and then we see the image of Galactus on his planet destroyer and absorb the planet in it.

Another little issue I want to mention is Galactus's face and his hand.  His face just  seems to cartoony for me but this might be due to his size and that his face had to be hand made.  And when Galactus does his cosmic beam from his hand or a grab it also looks real cartoony and unfinished.  But over all, I guess he just needs more detail on his face and on his hand.

Over all, he's a good character with some draw backs.
-sorry for any typos.

( P.s: I would love to see Galactus as more of an over the top character like Devil Gundam by hyuga, except bigger of course where his hands rest on both sides of the stage and attacking them will make him lower his head for attacking.  But that will have to be a new Galactus character completely and I'm only suggesting my opinion.)

does anyone else have the problem of him just picking you up and slamming you because that's all he does to me, he doesn't send out nova or do eye beams or nothing just picks me up and slams me

I just want to say how much it means to me to be able to play these characters, let alone play them when they are this great! The concepts, ideas and thoughts drawn up and put together on this site is overwhelming. Thank you for all of your hard work! I also wanted to ask, have you considered the Anti-Monitor as a character to do?
