1 Comment Crysis is not designed nor able to run right on consoles without having to butcher the Cryengine. When Cryengine and Cryengine 2 came out almost 85% of everyone who wanted it had to buy and/or build a new computer to support it. So how on earth are they gonna take a game with the same engine and use it on a console??? There is no way without  dumbing down the engine and basically taking away everything that is crysis.


(Coming from someone who owns bother crysis and crysis warhead on PC, and plays them both on max settings)

crysis 2 uses Cryengine 3, thay said it will be the best looking game on ps3, the best looking game on 360 but these versions wont be compared to the pc version of the game, so they will just maximize these versions according the potential and limits of every console, they said the pc version of crysis 2 will compete with the pc version of the original crysis, that probably means it wont be that much advanced graphically over the original crysis.

Thank god because if they were to dumb it down just for the stupid consoles I would be mad. I am a PC gamer first and for most. Consoles come second to me.

i remember emailing namco a year ago and suggesting to add kratos in soul calibur 4, and the reply they sent me was something like this "sorry we at namco don't accept development ideas from outside sources"   i wasn't surprised when recently heard that he is going to be in the new soul calibur game, too bad it's not a ps3 game tho, i wanted to see kratos in a next gen graphic game of soul calibur instead.
