here we go again....you know, sometimes i sympathize with guys like wagzopanzermanathod(i think thats how he spells it) when he says he is indifferent on the warehousing issue, because in all honesty, offline content is a Birtch to find, and i think that the classic offline content should be warehoused with permission or credit given or preferably both, but warehousing online content is a "no no" even IF your the big cheese of the mugen community, next thing you know, oowhap is a mod at the guild     sometimes, it just seems like the community is falling apart specialy when the guild starts warehousing

Also, I like the less stricter rules. In all honesty, considering this is the internet, if I didn't give a damn, I could easily bypass most rules. However, while I do like them more than the stricter rules MI has, I also fear for the trouble they may bring. A part of me says that they will probably go back to their own ways in the future.

In any case, I'd rather go for a real "Mugen community" than "Mugen clans", which is what I would call the current "community" today.

Guild was a great forum. I loved the no requests requesting board and seeing leechers get flamed for breaking the rules. But now leechers come in with Christmas List as requests. The staff is fighting each other. I mean really it's MFG Meleeeee. The Guild doesn't have long 'til it turns into MGBR.

I think they realized the futility of chasing warehousers around the net. The comparison of mugen to the ills of the music and movie industry put everything in perspective more than ever before.

Im a little torn....
Part of me wants it to be ok to have characters that are unrequestable (like Thanos of titan)
But really i dont want my character im working on to be on some guy's site that i dont know.
And sence its going to be my first character the only people who would beleve im the orginal creater are all here. I dont know.. Perhaps people will be moving here now due to the rules.
I dont like this at all...
And other places are aready starting to follow in the act.
I can understand if the site is down with no warning. But to be ok with hosting a character thats already online, even though its frowned apon lightly?

Just another drama episode if you ask me. It's way too early to say what is going to happen from here on out and all we can really do is hypothesize and watch it pan out. I personally love to see MI go the way of MUGEN Guild because of some of the crew there that were DEAD SET on calling us a warehouse for having similar rules when we 1st started. It is an unbelievable twist of events that has me smiling from ear to ear right now.

OMG, I just had a vision, if this attracts newbies, and elecbyte releases a mugen with zero backwards compatability, then the newbies will learn to create for the new engine!  It was all an elaborate plot by elecbyte!

I'm pretty sure some will leave. Because one forum changing their rules changes *everything* in the "clans".

Seriously, I'm going to start using Clan instead of Community.

Anyway, they should fully realize Guild isn't the only Mugen forum.

And I doubt XCB will come back.
