Was odd to see that vid with that song. In any case, Morph seems pretty cool and reminds me of Plastic Man with some of the stuff he does. Thought his tease was awesome too but the intro with the bathtub was a little confusing. Just wish we could've seen a hyper or special as I believe those were just the basics, but I'm sure we'll get to see the rest in due time. :) Good job.

i didnt want to give everything away at once, the song is about over coming the odds which is what morph is all about. the tub intro needs a little bit more work, i chose it because its a good way for morph to show his funny side but he still has to come across as a fighter in the battle

I think u should call Kevin Sydney Changeling like when he was the Xmen
http://www.marvel.com/universe/Changeling

This is Morph
http://www.marvel.com/universe/Morph_%28Age_of_Apocalypse%29

There all the same person, morph was gonna be called Changeling in the 90s show, but DC where using it at the time for one of there characters , so they changed it, and they changed his look in age of apoc, and exiles stories, and carried on using the name morph.

im guessing most of you have seen the video by now, and i think that it needs to be explained
some of you might be dissapointed with the fact that he is not morphing into other unsprited marvel characters, and to be honest with you i was planning on doing so when i first started the character.
myself and acey then thought to make this character more about morph and his power, and what he can do with his power.
for example growing in size, or funny/comedic moves like SuperMorph (a play on superman), or Morphbot (a little mechanical morph).
i felt putting other characters in would cheapen the character especially when someone makes a character hes morphing into, e.g angel, if someone made an angel and he was in the character they would look different so i decided to make it about Kevin Sydney.
I cameod his other personas such as changeling and how he appeared in the AOA and exiles.
Some people were suggesting some good ideas about changing into his opponent for a hyper, but this isnt practical and i dont feel like i can ask a coder to do something like that. i think you will be happy with his hypers and supers though.
Also you havnt seen his hypers/supers, a few basics or combos. His hypers will NOT be like spirals, theres no point in replicating something thats already been done, its just like going over icemans sprites and editing a moustache on them.
I think that in the long run, the character will be more interesting and fun to play as. You are yet to see evil morph who add more depth to the character ;)

Like the 2nd vid much more then the first. Especially since everything was a lot clearer there. Good job.

Thanks for the video err... "The Anvil" ^:)^ (kind of reminds me of "The Rock" when he refers to himself in the third person but anyway that's >:-(-|  :D )

Your video is cool. I love how you played the X-Men music in the background. :DxDie That was classic. Okay a couple of things that I need to mention.

First off I'm not gonna lie, when I red your previous announcement about Morph not changing into X-Men characters I had sort of mixed feelings. However I've had a few days to think about it and Morph changing into different people to suit his comedic style does give him a sort of uniqueness amongst the other shape-shifters (Mystique and Spiral). I'm glad you and Acey decided to use this style after all. Instead of him just being another copy character he has his own signature Morphs, that being said I'm glad you kept the Wolverine Morph in there. (I suppose an X-Men character morph here and there couldn't hurt... so long as those X-Men are his best friends? Guess you guys can take that approach.)

Just thought I should bring this to your attention, it's about Morphs walking animation. Whenever he walks forward it looks like he is walking backwards. I hope you fix that it seems kind of awkward; the best solution to remedy this is to give him a new forward walking animation. Trust me most Arcade fighting games have different forward walks and back walking animation (such as SNK and Capcom games) it makes the chars walk more realistically. ;)

thanks
the thing is with the walk is i had to make it different than icemans so i made his backwalk his front walk too (like acey did with banschee).
when you play as the character it looks fine, theres still more to come ;)

however if the walk proves unpopular then i will definatly reconsider and edit something further (but still different than icemans)

Fair enough. [-O<

If it is the popular vote I think for a base; Demetri's legs and arms are as small as Iceman's or almost as small. Guess you could use his legs and arm movements and frankensprite Morphs head onto Demetri's body, from there change Demetri's body to look like Morph and there you have it. You will have new walking animations. :)

morph has now gone into revision (sprite wise)
new haircut, new suit design (more like his animated one rather than his x-men adventures one), and his crotch is also being done too.
evil morph will have some modified/different moves ;)

what about an original small portrait? I'd love to see that and not just a sprite cut-out
