Title: [FM] SNK vs Capcom - Rivalry Conclusion
Post by: O Ilusionista on October 18, 2013, 11:57:47 AM
(http://images-01.cdn.gamejolt.com/imgserver/game-header/950/14476_2.jpg)

SNK vs Capcom - Rivalry Conclusion is based on SvC MotM from NGPC but with a different visual language and focusing in big pixeled frames. As the name says, the roster is based on the chars from the both enterprises that are similar in visual and/or fighting style.

This game was made by a good friend of mine, Ulissan, on Fighter Maker (a mugen-like engine). Many of the sheets done to my Pocket Dimensional Clash were used on this game (with permission) so they were been used for a good thing :) You can call it a spiritual sequel to PDC (or what PDC should would be if I ever finished it, lol)

So is this engine easier to use than mugen?  Does it also allow different types of combat like mvc mortal kombat etc?  Also is it more protected than mugen?

It's easier to make a simple game without programming skills, but to do advanced gameplays (like the MvC shift system) you will need some "variables" notions.
What didi you mean with "protected?

It's a easy to handle engine but i miss a lot of basic things like a option mode and common hit counter.

Nothing appears, in fact, it just disappears after 2 seconds or less.

That's really strange. So the initial screen appears and after this close? No one has reported this before, i'll research it!

There are so many good options! I like the Indian duo :)

Brave Knights, Fire Dragons, Proud Soldiers, Street Giants, and American Star, mainly for Charlotte, Dragon, John Crawly, Jack Turner, and... I can't even remember his name, but the Rival Schools American Football guy. All relativity obscure characters that are still good, and deserve their due.

EDIT: And the Indian Duo, for the same reasons. Same with Pugilist Gentlemen.

Indian Duo is improbable, but no impossible...

I always figure about obscure chars that have nice gameplay, and most of them are already done, and C. Commando and Maxima are the next!!

PS: Pugilist Gentlemen are already done!!

At first glance look a lot of work, but a bunch of them are already done by me, Chamat, Daeron, BanxMan and from the original NGPC games.

Surelly i will not do all of them, just the most important.

I gonna release a version that gonna be updated passing the months, to the players does not wait to much, or play a game with a few players, like my previous one.

Excellent sprites edit! :Terry

I have a problem with FM with Windows 8.1. The app don't run at full screen but rest windowed at all frame.
Do I can fix this bug with some driver/patch?

Did you already fiz the problem?

I recommend you to use the Retro-compatibility in the Windows 8 options for FM2nd.exe
