ok.. now.. can this also work by just putting like.. a stance sprite in FFU and then making a palette like that... that's what I think most people (like me) meant by making palettes.. like when making chars.. :-??

Can you rephrase the question.

What I meant was "making palettes for a character that you are just starting up...". That was kinda different in FFC, because the palette editor in it made life easier.. "How do you switch around colors in FFU palette thingy?" lol... :-??

Making palettes has two definitions:
1) Creating the initial palette for your character and indexing the colors in the palette so index 0 is the transparent color.
2) Creating various new palettes for a character who already has thair main palette set up. (This is what your tutotial addresses)
