Everyone who is not registered will be allowed to view the wiki site, but that's pretty much it. Your log in to the wiki will be your Infinity Forum login. This wiki is incorporated with the forum. This serves as a protection service to us as vandalism of material can occur within the wiki. It will identify you and we can take appropriate action on you immediately should you decide to go rogue on us. If you are banned here, you will not be allowed to log in to the wiki.
Initially, everyone who signs in will be allowed to create new pages, edit all unprotected pages (the main page is protected and can only be edited or removed by a sysop i.e. an Administrator here) amongst other things. This is a test to see how you, the forum member, handles a big responsibility. It is very easy to abuse this and we would like to keep Infinitywiki a similar experience to what makes Wikipedia successful, and that's leaving the power in everyone's hand to document MUGEN and Infinity's history.
Do not:
- Edit/delete another member/team/project's profile page without their consent unless it is to correct links, update info or anything that will enhance the page.
- Post lewd, offensive, pornographic, kiddie, copywrited material/websites/propaganda/comments/words on the wiki.
- Post links to warez, torrents, gamez, eSnips or any unauthorized services not approved by the IMT Admin.
All of Infinity's forum rules apply to the wiki and rule breaking there will apply to the forum.
Let's use this as a new channel for improving how we get stuff to you, keep you informed and make the Infinity experience better.

Just so you know, clicking the link to the fourm from the infinity wiki causes a 404 error because the link dosnt include the index.php

That's a very broad question.
Eternaga, is the short answer.
If he is talking about the concept, inception and creation of the original foundation of Infinity, then yes, you are right. If he is talking about this very one in particular.. then there is a different answer to that one. :-??

Eternaga had a fallout with us a while back. We parted ways and he went in a different direction. He is still a member here and have since for the most part within almost all the team, repaired negative feelings between us and him, so we are on good terms... but Eternaga is an art genius. If Eternaga should one day come here to this thread to tell his story, then I am sure one of us will tell our side because there are 2 sides to every tale and to just take my side of the story as fact is wrong without hearing his side about it. Until then, just take it for what it is. Eternaga is no longer (and hasn't been for quite some time) an IMT admin.

Doh!, hehe.... Congrats on releasing the wiki Excursion, I never knew what happened with Eternaga cos he left while I was away, I was only saying the other week how great his Rinoa was looking (I was always praying he'd release her) Thanks for posting his site link, I never knew about it.
btw, I'll try and keep my wiki page as upto date as possible.
I knew about his site for some time now and joined right away, but it's getting reconstructed now. I always respected him and what he does, I was pretty hurt to see him leave IMT. He really liked my art and sprites that I showed over at Before 3D. I'm looking forward to his Helmetless Megaman. Anyway, it's best to not bring up what happened back then as it's unnecessary drama. Ok back on topic, I love this wiki and I intend to keep the Team Demon page and my profile updated, it's a good way to let people know who we are and what we do ;)
I also just added some of my art on my profile so people have samples to enjoy.

Question, but with this wiki, is it still viable to have a database section on the forums? To me it now seems a bit like a waste of space, seeing as a database on the wiki would be easier to navigate and to edit. If required, these pages could just be protected to certain member groups as well.
Well I do know that would it take some time to do.

But it would be cool to give the Database another style (look at MI's or Mugenfury's Database for example ), so it just doesnt look like some forum posts.
Anyway, InfinityWiki has grown alot since we were beta testing it some time ago.

Its spelling spacific. Best bet would be to find the pages that link to it incorrectly and fix it.

you can make an article redirect for mispellings (like alexziq)
Just type:

Some user by the sn: Gayxcursion is replacing everything on every page with 100 lines of text that repeet "lol fag" over and over.
You can go into the history and undo his changes with a click of a link but he's changing them back very fast!

Is there a way to lock it to just the administration board.. then only the administration board allows members and staff to edit things... :-??
I second this, that only a select few should be able to edit the wiki. Although it sort of removes what makes a wiki it will definitely help stop vandalism.

perhaps the wiki could be locked out temperarly and this guys ip isolated so he's banned from the fourm and the wiki.

This guy did leave some clues, i know he/she has fourm acess and is really mad at imt.
Also this person is in school, probably college or comunity college (based on the time of day, unless they were in highschool in another country)

The only thing this loser did was close off registration for everyone else who has not registered. I have everyone's username/IP who currently holds an account to add to the wiki so whoever thinks they can trash it now can think twice as it will affect your membership here also. Also, Spidermew has Sysop powers at the wiki just in case you cannot reach any IMT administrator.

I'm updating my page now since we are on the topic of the Wiki .
Anyway , some people do have way too much time on their hands . To constantly trash the Wiki is time consuming . More time consuming for them , than it takes us to fix it .
