The best examples of dual-wielding characters are Jubei from Samurai Shodown and Musashi from Last Blade.

Nice looking Leonardo.  Wow a non Marvel or Capcom character from you?  That doesn't happen often.   ;)

Thanks. That's pretty true although the 80s is pretty fair game for me.

@ Arkady, I'm going to have him stab for the LP, then slice for the MP and HP. I can't imagine anyone realistically poking with the handle. (Not that slicing people up without blood is realistic either though.).

Looking great.

Which voice for Leo are you planing on using?
80's cartoon? 2002's cartoon? One of the two modern ones? Or perhaps everyone's favorate, the voice from "The Next Mutation?"  ;*))

Will you do Venus next  ;*))  ;)

I'm at a loss what to do for the voices because there are so many options. Maybe we'll just have to record our own custom ones.

that looks really cool ace

although I could be wrong but his shell from the back (third sprite) looks a little flat...maybe some scratches on the shell that follow the contour of the belt may help or have the shell's color's light source match the belt

Suggestion: give him some facial expression. Make him open mouth when attacking, for example.

Relax, will you two? Can't you see that this is a work in progress?

Relax you, Uche. Can you say something useful at least one time?

Uche's just standing up for me. I appreciate the feedback though.

I've been planning on trying to do more with the face on the attacks... the obvious one is gritting your teeth while punching but he's already doing that in his idle. I know in Tournament Fighters they have the turtles opening their mouth often on some attacks but... I dunno... It just seems weird. We'll see what happens as this evolves.
