Best program to record mugen.......

besides SnagIt. It installs some annoying printer crap which I HATE. I need a program that lets you select a region to record like SnagIt does.

I use FRAPS to record mugen matches. Cam Studio is good too, but most of the time the frame rate sucks. I couldn't constantly get 60fps when I recorded matches with it. Most of the time it was around 11-15 fps. With FRAPS I get a happy medium of 30 fps.

I can get Camstudio to record at 30 FPS just fine, provided I make the Mugen window small.

But of all the ones I used, Camstudio ticks me off the least.

How exactly does Fraps work with Mugen?  I never tried it before.

Hypercam may be simple to use, but it sure takes patience....LOTs of patience.
same with Camstudio. Usually these are good when showing off characters but no matches.

I used to use CamStasia and that worked fine for awhile.

Hmm, SnagIt sounds like a winner.
