Im not happy at all with the inclusion of PAC MAN. Tho Ill buy the game im really disappointed with the cast and this just sent me over. Not fond of the Goddess ether.

We get some nice and interesting characters.
Especially PAC-MAN, he is just perfect.

Palutena always seemed like a cool character for me, so I think her inclusion is not that bad. And also, Pac-man, as one of the most classic characters in gaming, deserved as spot too.

I absolutely loved Palutena in Kid Icarus Uprising (as well as the entire game itself for that matter), so her inclusion in Smash 4 is a treat to me.

Pac-Man, I wasn't too fond of at all upon first announcement, but now I'm fine with him. The reason being is that they used the retro / original Namco arcade design for him instead of the terrible new one with the weird eyes.

As someone who has no problem with the "Ghostly Adventures" design, I too am glad they used his original design.

Plus we now have gaming's biggest icons beating the bejenius out of each other.

However, there is one newcomer, that is such an idiotic idea, tha I don't even want to see the trailer of that character in order to find out, if the gameplay is good.
I'm talking about the Mii Fighters.
Seriously, not Rosalina, but the Mii Fighters are the one, who have stolen the important spot for a more interesting newcomer.

Meh, to me, I'm not surprised at all. Miis have been playable in most other games on Wii U, I would have questioned it if they didn't show up this time. Plus, being able to mix-match movesets is prettty hype. And since they're only available for local play, they technically didn't take a important character slot. They're more like a bonus.

Sorry, but Geno isn't even a real Nintendo character, since he was created by Square Enix.
The reason why Geno doesn't appear in any Smash game is the same reason, why none of Arika's Street Fighter EX characters appear in any Capcom game.
However, more importantly is the Waluigi dilemma.
Nintendo really could give Waluigi his own adventure, if Nintendo wanted to.
Problem is, Nintendo sadly does not give two shits for Waluigi.
He doesn't even appear in any Wario Land game, although Waluigi is Wario's brother.
Shows how much Nintendo hates Waluigi for no reasons.

He was created soley for the purpose of a counter/rival for Luigi in Mario Tennis, and only because they didn't have someone else at the time to fill the final character slot. He's never appeared in any main line game outside of the sports/party series. In fact, the only time he was ever a main villain was DDR: Mario Mix. So yeah, sorry to break it so hard, but Waluigi is lame.

Actually, nobody can know, since Waluigi never appeared in a main game aside from the Sports games.
Only if Waluigi will appear in his own game or in Wario Land, we can know, if Waluigi will be lame or not.
Who knows, maybe Waluigi even has telekinesis.

I personally think that Cranky Kong should appear. After all, he is a playable character now in Tropical Freeze, and he is the original Donkey Kong who was enemy of Mario when he was Jumpman. Classic villain.

Considering how most of the newcomers are coming, that wouldn't be TOO surprising. But I doubt Sakurai would do that.

It does seem like this Smash is having more fun with itself than Melee or Brawl though.
