I'm shocked to say the least.  Well Nintendo you just got another couple bucks out of me.  Now give me some more first party characters... and the rest of the N64 smash brothers levels.

Cloud def would not have been my first choice, but at least I know the character.  It's been what like 18 years since I played FF7 on the PS1?  (wow I'm gettin old)

I really hope this final batch of DLC is something amazing.

Because in regards to DLC fighters, what we've gotten up to this point is pretty underwhelming. Either veterans that were cut out for a good reason (ie Lucas and Roy) or newcomers that really don't need to be here (ie Ryu and Cloud)

All none of you, you mean? 

I'm severely pissed about this, if I can be frank. Not only do I not like Bayonetta as a character, but the fact that SHE was the Ballot winner is just idiotic. Literally NO ONE I talked to about Smash even mentioned her, and she didn't have the massive backing characters like Shantae, Rayman, or even friggin' Shovel Knight had.

Literally every DLC character for Smash has been nothing but either underwhelming or frustrating

Hmmm i actually havent been much to hardly a super fan of the franchise since SSB 1 and 2.
BUT.....now that i see some cool dlc for this game in characters i like.....i think i will get this game and a Wii u or 3ds. 
Not to sound  like a perv ( total lie cause i know i do ) but i am excited to hear,msee and get to play  as Bayonetta in this game! Nintendo went sexy to me now on SMASH!

Bayonaise made sense. I'm with Max Dood when he said that Zero Suit Samus was like a prototype Bayo like 2 years ago, like at the time they started working on her but then second guessed it and altered it to fix Samus instead.

Look, I get that Smash made Fire Emblem popular stateside cause everyone was like "WTF is Marth?" and then people played Sacred Sword and it was awesome. BUT COME ON!!

FE Fates barely came out in June in Japan and it STILL HASN'T COME OUT HERE! Nobody gives a flying about Corrin. I mean, did we really need to make it possible to have an 8-player smash made purely of FE characters, 3 of which have the EXACT SAME MOVES?!

I chalk that more up to coincidence than anything else (unless Sakurai comes out and states otherwise)

No joke, when I first saw ZSS on the E3 direct, my immediate thought was the same thing. Wanted to add Bayonetta to the game cause they funded production for Bayo 2, but nah dawg, she a bit too smexy for smash.

Well my point is is that ZSS has been in the franchise since Brawl. Heck ZSS as a concept has been around since I think either Fusion or Zero Mission.

I highly doubt that was the exact thought that crossed the devs' minds.

Oh, no debate on that. I'm referring to the stand-alone redesign since they decided to split transformation characters because of the limitations on the 3DS.
