Chrom only appear in Robin's Final Smash, he's not playable

We don't know that. *Troll face*

Honestly though When I posted that I though he would be a skin for Lucina or something but now I noticed She's a Clone of Marth, and He's a final Smash. So lol.

Quote
Metroid actually had 2 characters, Samus and Zero suit Samus, it's 2 characters ^^'

Zero suit Samus is as much a 2nd character as Evil ryu is from Ryu.

It's the same character with two movesets... I mean Metroid needs a REAL Second Character.

Well it'd be weird to have a random 3rd party character being just a trophy, not to mention they went as far as getting Ubisoft to help make the model. So I'm PRETTY sure he'll have an active role in the game: as either an assist trophy or an unlockable character

Got to screw around with the demo during my lunch break.

It's 2 min brawl on Battlefield with either Mario, Link, Pikachu, Villager, or Mega Man using default controls, Local play only.

Ok yo, that default control scheme is awkward because it's still A for normals, B for specials, X/Y for Jump, but since it's not a GC controller, they feel off.

Link's Dash attack is the absolute worst. Takes way too much planning to use, and anyone can see it coming a mile away, making it severely punishable.

Dat Mega Man. Wow, I don't really understand exactly HOW to use him yet but he's definitely different from all the other players. I see now why he was always last place whenever I would see vids with him in it.

IF any didnt know the demo is out on the e shop

now ive only just started playing so this is my first impressions. I only have interest in megs at this point. I know go figure :-@ lol. The controls in general are odd and the small size of the 3ds cause pain in the hands. So with that i know i have to wait till the wii u version to play hard core.

On megs play style. Megs doesnt play like any character EVER in smash. he is so unique. It feels like your playing a megs game when you control him. (I find myself holding   :a to do the charge shot. lol) he  however still manages to fit well with the tiny cast we have at the moment. It will take some time to learn him because you can not aprouch him like ANY character in this fanchises history. VERY fun to play with. Now i just hope that his uniqueness doesnt displace him when the full cast is available.

my over all of the demo....its as everyone says. Its fits in between melee and brawl. Also you can see/ feel the Namco presence. the AI is pretty freaking good. But it feels like a fighter. Smash tho i played it competitively never felt like a fighter. The AI is more aggressive and smarter. I notice the AI doing things to get in that was VERY fighter like. Like pikachu jumping using neutral B followed with a kick to get in. Something i see in Street fighter.

that really made me mad. Not because the AI beat me (I adapted and school it. ) but because smash always had this light feeling about it. I guess the party feel that Nintendo pushed so hard in years past. I don't feel that now. In battles its so serious now. In fights i never get a chance to to take that deep breath of fresh air. You are always battling (i pause the game and close it to get that breath)... In all i have very mixed feeling on the game. I love the control and feel of things but series has lost some of it charm due to the tailoring of the fighting feel for the game.

if i graded id give it a 7 out of 10. losing points due to the change in over all feel. Tho i do say it deserves a 9 or 10. Just not from the Princess.

Now to wait for the full game

I had wrote ALLOT on megs but decided to remove it because it isnt that serious, its a game period. A darn good game. Just enjoy it.

Eh...

I'm more curious to if it leads to more DLC or this is all we'll get.

I really HOPE that Mewtwo will be NOT the only DLC. I still need Roy Elwood from Fire Emblem to come back to Smash 4 as a playable, since the Ice Climbers aren't playable in this.

We already have Lucina, who like Roy is just a Marth clone.

So do we REALLY need him to return?

So do we REALLY need him to return?
Yes, we do, because unlike Lucina, Roy is MORE than a Marth clone.
Sure, he shared attacks with Marth back then, but his attacks worked differently (different properties, fire).
But we should not forget that it was like that in Melee. Marth got some updates, like a new Shield Breaker animation.
If Roy gets playable, he could get the old animation for his version of the Neutral B and function more like Ike's Neutral B. Also, Roy's rekkas during his Side B could get changed. And Up B could have more property differences.
So basically, Roy would only have two carbon copy attacks (Down B and Final Smash), while Lucina has only has carbon copy attacks of Marth (lack of a sweet spot does NOT count as a difference).
And don't forget that with Mewtwo and Dr. Mario, we already get two out of the three Melee veterans that were planned for Brawl, with Roy being the third.
So yeah, give me Roy, or I will have a tantrum.

While the first part might hold some truth, the second part is a blatant lie.
Lucina does not only have the same moves like Marth, but also the same properties (save for the lack of a sweet spot, but that doesn't count anyway).

I just don't think we need more clones.

Even if the clone was from that oh so precious Melee
