Portrait problems

Hey, whenever I change a portrait for some characters (for the Warzone screenpack to fit) a lot of the characters come with some wired errors like some moves don't work, or mostly when a character get's broke to the point where it repeats an animation and pressing 1 button once (ex: punch) will loop it for ever, and some other wired crap! Any help will be good!

I need assistance with this too. I'm not changing anything but the portrait in the fighter factory, and I'm only changing it's position. I'm guessing this is some kind of failsafe done by the creators, but I'm not trying to steal their work here. I just want to change the positioning of a portrait.

Make sure when you change it that the shared palette button isn't clicked.
Also make sure if you add it in, that you do it after all the sprites that are using shared palettes.

well, thats probably not a solution, but try to use "sprites->safe" instead of "file->safe" that way ff will only rewrite sff file
