WIP Lifebars (for a potential Homestuck Screenpack)

Well, it was ages ago when I was asking how to make lifebars (although I don't think I've ever managed to get the information that I needed) and since then, I've been trying things out. Finally, after a few botches, I've managed to get enough experience to finally start making my own lifebars. Although I still have a few problems with them, I've finally managed to get a working set of lifebars created, which I hope to update and improve to form an important part of a screenpack which is what I am slowly working towards, although given my skillset, it would be hard, if not impossible, for me to complete a good quality screenpack on my own.

Anyway, images of what I've got so far:

This is how it looks at the start of the match. This image also show the Zebeth stage that I had made, although I've have yet to show it before now.


Another screenshot showing how the screenpack looks during a timed match. I have used the Lightworks screenpack as a base from which I made the lifebars. Note that the lost life is transparent, rather than grey.


Here we have a 2v2 match in full swing to show the split lifebars. And this shows the main thing that I have yet to figure out how to sort out: the images of the player's faces.


Here's another screenshot from the same match but later on. My aim for the second preview, 0.2 (This preview is of version 0.1) is to try and make the health bars more Homestuck-like, as that is what I'm hoping to get done at the end of all this, if not more.
