Patching Tag Team characters

Two quick questions:

1. I know that Sludge has a nice tool that you can get here to give your characters tag-team ability in doubles matches. Is there any way to patch that out of a character? I have a few really good characters that I like that have that and I'd really rather if they didn't. Just know that I know very little to nothing about MUGEN coding, so you might have to lay it out step by step for me :/

2. Is there any way to adjust which palette is selected by Mugen when you select the character? Whenever I select Deadpool, for instance, I always get the blue one, which I'd rather get the red or orange one. Is there any way to adjust this? It's more just curiosity than anything else. It seems like there must be a way somehow, because otherwise it would be logical for the first palette to always be the chosen one.

I can awnser the pallette question:

In the def file of any characer, look for this:

pal1=dead1.act
pal2=joepalette.act
pal3=ultimatepalette.act
pal4=xmenpalette.act
pal5=fantomexpalette.act
pal6=newxpalette.act

The button mapping for them is as follows:

pal1= Lk
pal2= Mk
pal3= Hk
pal4= Lp
pal5= Mp
pal6= Hp
(Palletes 7-12 are Start+ button)


It's backwards to how fighting gams usally are, wth kick being for the default pal. so you have to options:

swap the order of the pals like so:

pal1=xmenpalette.act
pal2=joepalette.act
pal3=ultimatepalette.act
pal4=dead1.act
pal5=fantomexpalette.act
pal6=newxpalette.act

Or start using kick to select your pallete.
