You guys have some serious imagination going on here, some of those first images are crazy mind-bending!

Just some general advice I can pass on that has been given to me over the years, No. 1: just keep at it! I still get this encouraging comment, too many people just stop and never pick up again, stick to what you love!

The next thing that I personally feel helps me, don't try and force any kind of style. It doesn't look like you do but, I just wanted to relay this, there have been so many times especially early on where there were artists I loved and tried to emulate but, now I just sit at my table and let it things flow onto the page. And I still don't have a completely defined "style" but, I get closer every time I sit down!

I guess the last thing that might help is don't be afraid to use tools like rulers and references, in fact a lot of artists I have talked to have mentioned they used to spend SO much money on reference books, some still clip things from magazines to fill their libraries! But, now the internet is such a great tool you can just type whatever you are looking for and get such great photos to reference right at you fingertips.

I in no way intend these comments as criticisms, just as a general helpful comments. I know how frustrating it is when people try to get advice when they don't know where you're at. Believe me, I get that from time to time too, I feel like this guys doesn't know what the f**k he's talking about but, then I gotta remember he's never met me before and they only have what they have in from of them to go off of!

Thanks, I talked to my Bro over the phone about your comments and they are the biggest encouragement we've had so far. We have just started this adventure together and so far nothing is slowing us down. In fact we have a good bit more accomplished but we won't be showing everything since we are a little scared our ideas might be snatched, so some of our best chars, ideas, plots and pages will have to wait for the comics release unfortunately. I might PM you some pages from time to time Danoartist to get some feedback because you certainly know what your doing from the work you have shown and I completely respect your comments. I do have a question for you, how do you scan those comic size pages? Do you scan them in sections and then piece them back together in a paint program or do you have a scanner big enough to handle that size page?

Yeah, no problem, feel free to ask, I'll do my best to answer any questions you might have. To be honest I'm still learning myself but, I have talked to many pros and gotten great critiques. I mention this just so you know, a lot of advice I have to give I have gotten from others but, I'm happy to relay info or advice I've gotten!

To answer your question about what scanner I use, I actually had to get a large sized scanner so I could scan 11"x17"(comic page) pieces. You can find them on the internet, some for a little over $100! You don't HAVE, to buy a whole new scanner though, I just find it to be so much more convenient. I used to do what you suggested, scanning pages in and putting them together with photoshop but, if you want to try and do a whole book I would suggest trying to get a larger scanner.

In regards to doing a comic though, the best advice I can give is focus on the storytelling! If you can get the story to flow well from panel to panel you will have a great start. That is still something I get critiques on, if you check out the Aquaman/Mer-Man pages I did, the second and third pages tell the story okay but, I got comments that I skipped over some scenes. I really tried to work on that in the WW/She-Ra pages, focused on making the story flow right form one panel to the next!

Just posting to let peeps know that I'll be out of town until Monday. The reason for the absence is mostly comic related, but also to visit my nieces. I'm showing Lord Bynum the final script ruff draft of issue #1 & see if it meets approvial or if he has any ideas to make it better. I'm sure my draft is gold based on friends who have read it, but Lord Bynum's ideas have proved before to take my stuff to the next level. Plus my story has place holder characters which LB has yet to fill in which is my fault. Ill post what happened on Tuesday along with new art only on Infinity Forums, see ya then.

Time to dust off the old pen and paper & see if i can still draw after doing all this Mugen stuff for years, so let's get started~

I had to pick a random animal to draw for class that had either had feathers, scales or fur. So I choose an Iguana. It was a timed drawing which I had 45 min to complete in pencil. I liked it so much that I decided to finish it after class with ink. I also am trying out a trial version of some video editing software to see if I like it, so that's why theirs a water mark.

Thanks Hobo king! Another class assignment. Had to draw a man and an animal together, so I went with American Indian and horse. Not my best work but good enough for a simple submission.

I try to stay away from coloring if I can because I tend to make the colors to bright like a Vincent van Gogh painting. I'm currently looking around on Facebook for a colorist who can match my drawing style. If there are any colorist here who would like to color something of mine feel free to ask.

It's still early in the process but here is a picture of the Image super-hero team named Brigade. The giant guy named Atlas is shielding the team from a hail storm while there advancing on their target through the city.

Working on a Wolverine NPC follower for Skyrim. So far all I have is his blades in game which can also be used by your character. Test footage.

Thanks for clearing up the ES lore for me. I always assumed that this was Earth. I'll try to write your Beast idea into his story then.

No base, just images from the web of Armadillo. Artist have portrayed him looking different in the comics threw the years, but this is the version of the character I like the best.
