Having been a BR fan since childhood, I was surprised to see that there aren't any of those chars for Mugen yet. I figured, heck, if I want something done, I should do it myself. So, without further ado, here's some history in the making!

So far, I have 2 sprites (enlarged so you can see them better):

Human form stance
As you can see, he is based on his BR2 incarnation, using Charlie/Nash for the sprite base and adding stuff from Guy.

Beast form stance
Nowhere near perfect, but it's a start.

Feedback is welcome.

Updates will come ~~weekly if not more often~~ whenever the heck I feel like it.

Like the regular Hugo form

! I love bloody roar my favorite was Gado the Lion. The wolf form needs to be a bit more bulky. But great start.

looks pretty cool but the beast form needs different legs and a new color, with this as a reference:

NP, this looks like an interesting wip. One last tidbit, Yugo's belt buckle doesn't exactly face the the position that he is facing.

Wow, that must be REALLY uncomfortable for him...his pants all twisted up like that >.<

But yeah I am REALLY looking forward to this wip! I LOVE the BR series too and Hugo was one of my faves!

I stopped resizing the sprites for this thread 'cuz it was too much of a pain in the butt

Human Form
Belt Buckle is re-aligned.

Beast Form
Not quite what I want yet, but it's getting there. (I desperately need to improve drawing skills as far as ripped clothes)

I'm also planning for Yugo to have strikers, to pay homage to multiple BR chars at once.
Here's a few I had in mind:

Long the Tiger

I could use either Yun or Gato, or a combination of the two.

Yuriko the Half-Beast

Hsien-Ko has some similarities, but would require tons of editing.

Bakuryu the Mole

Need I say more?

The head is too high.
The second form is perfect for the half-top body.

i like this head too high.. i don't like the second form.. it's very different from bloody roar character of yugo. (i have bloody roar's game) the proportion can't be the same of human body.. but this frame is only an idea of my wolf form..

Thats funny im just seeing this. I just used a Sound effect of yugos Howl in my beta update too recently ...
He looks cool. Im definitely curious bout trying this char out. Yugos my fav in BR.

Gosh, I haven't posted on anything in AGES.

I must say I'm REALLY looking forward to this as there is a distinct lack of Werewolves on Mugen (Of course, this is partially because there is a distinct lack of Werewolves in Fighting games in general, but...)

Sorry I haven't been getting much work done on this wip, what with school & all. But, I won't give up. Yugo WILL be released.... eventually.

Here the his left hand is huge maybe you could scale that down a bit it honestly looks bigger than his entire head. But I really do love your second edit of Yugo's beast for I like the longer mane or maybe its just on the others the head is just too high. Maybe you could shrink some of the tail width-wise and move it down as you stated so that we can tell its the tail and not the mane.
