Hey, Acey...a suggestion: Looking at those standing anims you posted to show off the pals, I noticed that the jacket doesn't move around the bottoms as she breaths, while the rest of her body does. It looks kinda odd. Also, I think the color and the jacket costume could stand to be about 1-2 pixels shorter...not sure if that was the way it was back in XvSF but it looks odd as well the way it is ??? But these are just my aesthetic opinions.

No offense Acey, this is top stuff, but I really liked Capcom's stance better.

But hey it's your character, I'm just throwing my two cents

It's cool, I agree that Capcom did a great job on Rogue in X-Men vs Street Fighter. I just kept on seeing Rogue standing like this in the comics and it clicked with me.

I like it! She looks determined. Love the optional jacket too. Very much looking forward to this release.

I'm in mixed feelings about this new stance. I think the stance really suits Rogue and the smart palette is really awesome, on the other hand I like Capcom's face a little better than this new one (same goes for Psylocke in PX) and I agree that the fact that the jacket doesn't move looks a bit awkward..

Anyway, the gameplay with her in PX is AMAZING, so much hard work has been done to her and I would like to thank you again Acey for this :w00t:

I think her new look is absolutely amazing.
I really enjoy playing with your Rogue although I miss the flying roll she does before this punch in the Capcom game.

P.S. The screenshoot isn't actually Acey's Rogue.

I've been upgrading all of my mugen content for the new Mugen 1.0 and in the mean time making a series of well needed updates. Rogue has recieved the treatment to bring all of her sprite set into the current chronology of the X-Men and thanks to mugen smart palettes and helpers she is also able to throw on her jacket and bust it up old school style as well.

See, originally I was only committing to doing a palette separation with her jacket, which Laspacho help a lot on completing. Then as we got more into Project X it seemed right to update her costume to match the game but time just wouldn't have allowed it. Eventually ZVitor asked if I could finish the sprite set if he jumped in and programmed the rest of the stolen moves, which we did but unfortunately Rogue was still not ready. It's fortunate that we didn't rush her into the Second Coming game as well though because with the amazingly complex smart palette, the details of lining up the jacket with the body, while dealing with the new animations for the stolens moves as well as working out the sprite priorities earlier versions were just not there yet. Now though, she is ready and is going through final minor details before her release.

Right now Rogue has 30 stolen moves each with a hyper to match with more to come. When she steals from a character whom she doesn't have a stolen power for she will only take a randomized boost for life, power, speed or defense. The plan is to continue to add more stolen moves up through til the end of time but for the time being only expect the current 30 moves for the first release.

Check out what we've got going....

I love what I'm seeing here Ace. I especially loved RogueWoman (or whatever that Megaman Rogue could be called)

I really can't wait to add her to my roster, same with your new Beast

The hypermove where she transform into a Robot (mimics Megaman) is well done, congrats.

Actually Bass is a keeper. It's the same way Bass does his hyper in mugen (which is based on the game Megaman & Bass). If I start messing with hypers that are finished it would be stuff like Psylock's, which isn't really a hyper she has, it's just a supped up version of her special attack.

That's probably what he sees Bass' as.

Also does she have specific intros depending on what costume she has? Like can she use the cloak intro with her other outfit or something like that?

I just noticed something when you demonstrated Rogue's Power Drain on herself. The jacket Rogue loses said jacket when she's drained. And the jacket itself remained on the ground. What does this function serve?
