Help with New Video Card
« on: April 30, 2010, 10:53:28 PM »
I'm lookin to pick up a new graphics card for my pc but i am on a budget and i havent updated my pc in a couple of years.

Hear are my current specs so far:
Motherboard = Biostar P4M90-M4 Version 1.0
Processor = Intel Pentium 4 2.80 GHz
RAM = 3Gb
Current Card = NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS

...i'm not lookin to spend more than $125 US.
also i lean towards NVIDIA products more than ATI.

Well this 250 GTS will run a bit hot but it's a half height graphics card:

I have a 9800GT version of this card it could play Just Cause 2 at medium settings at it's max. Not to mention it has a lifetime warranty. And if you go out of budget here you can get this MSI card that has higher clocks and would be generally cooler than the sparkle:
