Well, the good ole' Search Tool said there wasn't a thread like this, so I decided to make one!

I'm interested in seeing what other people have as their Screenpacks (ie: Main screen, Char Select, and Vs screen). I mean screenpacks are always released by you never really know who uses what.

I'll start off with just my humble little Char Select Screen:

It's a modified version of Ziltama's excellent 'M.u.g.e.N Coruscation'. The original version looks like this:

Note that the changing character pictures in the background also are in mine, I just took at screenshot when they were changing. I love the whole 'space' theme with the animated stars and stuff flying around the screen.

Unfortunately, as some of you know, this is the one that I screwed up half of my roster with a portrait issue. :-( Still haven't figured out a way to fix them yet without re-downloading EVERYTHING, (and yes, if I ever fix this, I will be backing up like a saint).

While I see nothing wrong with this topic and think it would be great to see everyone's setups, there's one guideline that should be followed in threads like this:

anyways here are 2 of mine

custom personal 1

- center screen is animated with edited various video clips from SF IV and various character art
- 22 visible chars with 10 behind the center screen and the rest off screen

- WIP currently testing out various fonts
- fully animated title, options, select and vs screens with particle illusion effects
- turntable style inspired lifebars

both screenpacks are currently unavailable to the public and have not been released

I think I'm the only person on earth still not using the High Rez hack!

Just the EVE screenpack with some little edits here and there. It's a work in progress. On the character select screen I removed the random select from the beginning of each category and made a dedicated random select on the bottom, and by going into it and moving the cursor a certain way, you can access secret characters and bonus levels. I also changed the fonts on the categories to be more aesthetically pleasing. The Darkstalkers category is not for Darkstalkers and Melty Blood characters, and the Jojo category is now for Jojo's Bizarre Adventures and Fate-Stay Night guys. I also got rid of the wrap around thing that the cursor did, and organized the characters so that you can just go up and down through each category without the cursor jumping around weirdly.

I changed the system sounds, the fight sounds, and I swapped out the original EVE life bars for an edit of the RBS Special ones that I'm working on. They don't look so fancy now, but when they're done I think they'll match the rest of the screenpack better than those ugly CVS2 ones that came with it. I also use the winmugen screenpack selector from here to give people the choice of using categories or the old school icons, because some of my friends prefer that when we play.

Eventually I'm going to replace the background in the options screen for something that clashes less, make an intro, change all of the portraits on my characters, and replace the Vs. screen with an edit of the one from the World Warriors X screenpack.

Here is the one i use, basically a mix of many screenpacks i did to learn how screenpacks work. I too did like the space theme of coruscation screenpack so kept it, and also some parts of a screenpack that was posted here some time ago (the portraits and a few other things).
I prefer category select cause you can go for these big portraits (was a pain to make 250 of them, still not done with it) and loose less time searching for a char.

Still need better fonts someday and a little remake of the categories (will probably trade guilty gear for darkstalkers)...
