Currently working on a Mega Man M.U.G.E.N. game which will probably focus on the events from the Ruby-Spears series and the games. I'm going to need some help so I would appreciate it if you guys could support me by giving me ideas and feedback.

The Plot: After numerous attempts to conquer the world but destroyed by the Blue Bomber, Mega Man, Dr. Wily decided to make a device that would allow him ro travel back and forth into the past and the future to gain new allies to help him destroy Mega Man and Dr. Light's meddling robots. Successful in building the time machine, he goes back to the past to bring back some of the robot masters Mega Man destroyed. He then goes into the futurue and brings back numerous allies who also for some odd reason, hate Mega Man too. Dr. Light realizing Wily's evil plan sends Mega Man and some of the robot masters out on a mission to take down Wily and his new allies once and for all! Dr. Cossack also volunteered to help out in taking down Dr. Wily by sending out some of robot masters as well to help Mega Man out in his most challenging battle yet!

* Tako Trash
* Vile (Ride Armor)
* Wave Man

Ideas I'm thinking of including


* Hidden unlockables to increase the replay value of the game.
* Choose your own fate so you could change the outcome of some of the stages sorta like "Super Adventure Rockman" if it's possible to make in M.U.G.E.N.

What to look out for

* The game isn't only going to include characters from the NES games1
* Clues that might reveal further information about the game or hidden surprises!
* Every character will be as accurate as possible based on their appearance in the games so don't be surprised if some of them aren't able to move or only have few attacks!

Things I need to fix

* Characters need AI.
* Need to re size the mugshots.
* Add palettes to the characters.
* Stages and the screenpack.

The Pokemon game is still in production. I'm just going back and forth on each game.

Well hell, sometimes I stop working on a certain char to work on another one.  Small difference here imo.  Sometimes people just get tired of working on one thing and decide to work on something else for a while.

Any characters that appeared in the Mega Man series. However, I'm working on the NES bosses and enemies.

I think that's impossible due to MUGEN limitations.
The King Of Fighters Zillion had this "system" with Alba Meira, in previous versions.

Whats your plan for unlockable characters?
Are you gonna use some sort of hack or trick? If so could you share it with us?

In order for me to make the unlockables actually happen, I'll upload most of the characters to my Mediafire account but the characters will be password protected meaning you can't download them unless you know the password. The "select.def" will also already have the unlockable characters listed in there but you won't be able to access it. So in the actual game, you'll have to look for the passwords yourself. However, I might give out clues here on this thread which you will have to answer in order to get the passwords. Once you get the password, you'll be able to download the character the password belongs to and insert it into the "chars" folder which will automatically add the character to the game hence the fact that the "select.def" already has all the hidden characters added.

Yeah, I want it to make them appear when you beat the game with a certain character or perform a certain task but I don't know if it's possible in M.U.G.E.N.

well you have include it in character endings. but then again this game would have to be open for you to do that wouldnt it. i wish somehow a coding genius could recode it so that you can include unlockables

if possible, breakman should be an enemy. once he's beat, then you unlock protoman.
