Did anyone ever play canon spike?

I have it somewhere in my closet. *probably lost under some other games*

Oh, and anyone else besides me buy some of the newer DC games made after the system's lifetime, like Trigger Heart Excellica?
*wonders if anyone will answer hehe...*

yeah, Shenmue 1 came out for DC. The 2nd would have had Micro$oft not had exclusivity for the sequel in the US... I believe it was released in Europe & Japan though

Yeah, TRE is pretty fun to play. Especially since it gets harder based on how you play. It's as if the game hates you for doing so well. heh.

Is there some special method of playing the games? Or do you just pop it in like a real DC game?

How do you burn dreamcast games?

get Discjuggler (http://www.padus.com/) by default it burns at 1x, and is better at burning DC games than Alcohol (which is better for PS2 games)
most Dc isos are self booting, so you just burn, put it in and start playing!

Sonic Adventure and Power stone where my favorite games for that system but now i only have Power stone to play Hydro thunder, Incoming, Dynamite cop house of the dead and Rayman the great escape or something like that. Dream cast was a revolution for me and i will never tell someone that dream cast sucked NEVER.......

Good thing I had some b-day money from last year! So nows I got MvC 2. (I had it before but it was burned and needed a boot-up disc.

yea still use my dreamcast. love playin mvc2, sonic adventures,  and dead or alive 2 on it. shame it died was one of the best consoles out there. it actually cared about games unlike now adays consoles that keep adding fancy crap like blu ray or hd-dvd players in em.

real talk. all the DC needed was a DVD drive upgrade, or even if a firmware patch was made then games could still be developed... technically, today is the last day of support for the DC [http://mugenbattle.blogspot.com/2007/09/dreamcast-mugen-part-1.html] so now I guess it's considered abandonware?

in any case, I just found my Japanese copy of Guilty Gear X, never played any in the series so I'm off to see how fun it is  :)

I still play Power Stones 1 & 2 to this day. 8-}

I also remember playing Resident Evil: Code Veronica, MvC2, and Sonic Adventure.

The only time I had a beef with this golden oldie was when I was playing Sonic Adventure, and every now and then the game would severely lag, particiularly when I was coming down the wooden steps in the Mystic Ruins. ~X(

Yes that pace had a big load time and was very laggy at times but it was the dream cast and Mystic ruins was a big place
