I just went a cut all the crap out of this topic.

If you don't like an artist, or think there are other artisit that deserve a title, either keep it to your self or PM an admin. This isn't a place for bakchanded comments, it's a place to show of sinatures.

Do we need a sig contest to show who is the sigiest of them all?

hmmm.. i think the sprite one would be better with out the c4d (It just doesn't look right imo), and i think the text and colors (the colors are too monochromatic) could use some work. As for the second i don't really know what to say... Composition is just weird there. Keep it up ^^.

Edit: To keep down the drama, if anyone posts a tag and doesn't want any c-n-c.. please say so.

Try this man:

http://brisktutorials.deviantart.com/art/Newbie-Tutorial-83788153

those are some of the problems i see in most people here.

also try DA for tutorials, there are some very good ones:

http://ratchet-5510.deviantart.com/art/GoW-Signature-Tutorial-58412139

http://ratchet-5510.deviantart.com/art/Gears-of-War-Sig-Tutorial-53335472

http://ratchet-5510.deviantart.com/art/Simplest-Sig-Tut-Ever-Basics-53396581

i think you should start with something like that, to get better at basics.

thats a good start, simple sigs but they all look very good. :)

The third is pwnage man. Nice concept and nicely executed. Try a colored version m8. For the others Work on c4d usage so it doesn't look out of place in your tags. @ Akeme - As Draco said let us know what you need help on cause we can help you.

yea bro, you are just starting but you can still give C-n-C. every opinion is important and i sure take it on mind so thanks Akeme and Wurld, BTW i know what you mean about the C4D'S Wurld, specially in the first one right? well the truth is that i wanted them to be distractive in the tag, i didnt want to make just a focal, i kept somethings to stand out more tho like the girl, c4ds and text, some supported with source lights and colouring, im really happy with the result.

yea i know what you mean man, i used to have a lot of problems following tutorials too (lol ask Wurld, i was only bothering him in msn because i didnt know a lot of things) the good part is that he was always there to help.

thats why we are offering you our help, because we know how hard it can be.

lol i remember, for example, i had problems with clipping masks....i didnt know what they were or how to make them work....now i barely use them.

its been awhile since i used a tutorial to make my sigs, you will be able to make your own sigs just with your own experience and creativity and without using a tutorial just dont desperate.....youll get there with time, patience and practice.

you remember when i started man, i have posted here all my stuff since when i started until now, i think you have almost seen all my progress right from the begining until where i am now....so you already know more or less how it is.  ;)

i see on the fist one you used some clipping masks and some burn tool at the sides, not bad, but try to keep just one focal because both renders keep to much attention and the tag itself loss interest.

the second one is much better, it has a bit more sense of depth and the background is less messy that in the first one, effects are good.

also try to work a bit more on your text, for this kind of sigs the text is too big and it takes to much attention, maybe you could use some clipping masks for it, and for last but not less important, work a little more on blending.

i have to say i see i good improvement between the first one and the second one, that means you are doing very good so keep it up on that way man.
