I have a fanfic I've made a while ago involving Naruto characters. Anyhoo, one of the characters is an Akatsuki member, who's a female Hyuuga kunoichi.

Erm, here's what I kind of imagined her to sort of look like (I used Illustrator for this):



These are a few shots of her, using Pyslocke sprites as a base, I guess. Though, I don't think I'll be sticking with those, as they look odd.

And finally, a test character. Mainly, I'm concentrating on sprite work, since I know jack crap about coding.
