Well, here's a bug: When Sagat does his grab move (The one where he knees them 4-6 times) ALL characters EXCEPT Sagat himself start off with their feet by his hand, not their head.

Thats probably because some characters may not have that sprite or they changed it to something different.

I will have to find check an animation that every character has so the move can look flawless.

Found another bug, this time it's an SND playback with Sagat's knee throw.
When he throws a character down you can hear one of their SND sounds play instead of a crashing sound. /:O

I remember right before MVC2 came out I said I would love to see Sagat in the game.  I have been disappointed until now, until played with this Sagat.  This is everything I would have hoped to see from Capcom and never did.  Great job.   :thumbsup:

Can't disagree with the great laspacho.

To be honest I didn't liked Sagat in the earlier Street Fighter series, but as soon as the dudes at capcom buffed him up  I knew he was going to be a bit more popular with the ladies and with the dudes as well, lol

Great job on him Scar.

 ??? Not bugs or complaints

Sum trouble with air combos. 3 hits @most & its hard to connect with LP/LK unless in the corner. Even right after launch. :-??
Wish he could run instead of roll/run after. (hold forward on 2nd tap)
Infinite Tiger, I like it but the pause time after is too long. (i wanna hit 'em with the Tiger Cannon ;*)))
Hypers with K pause longer than all the rest.  (p2 recovers b4 hyper starts) Cant go from strike/combo to hyper.
No, Low Tiger Cannon?

bugs for you:

1) I insist with this but I think that the Super Jump it´s incorrect, because when I do the Super Jump, Sagat never complete the anim.
I give you an example, i think that the super jump have to be like that with a "LOOPSTART" in the sprite before of the last sprite:

If you want send me a PM, I´m work in one better code for the Super Jump, if you want it, repeat, PM to me.

2) no voices of sagat in his punchs and kicks?.

3) His taunt it´s ok but I think that he need a sound there (is my opinion).

4) I think that the Air combos has much air.velocity, I mean that the opponent fly much to the right and up.

5) In all the Tiger shoots, left one sound, only I hear: "Tiger!!!". I believe that he lacks the proyectile sound, like the punchs has his sounds.

6) In the last sprite of the anim of the Tiger Shoots, should have more "time".

7) Lacks the anim of the Tiger shoot when this is destroyed:


8) In the Tiger Uppercut, lacks the sound of the tiger´s roar.

9) I believe that the Low Tiger Uppercut has a low velset. I believe too that this movement it´s called Tiger Blound. The Tiger Uppercut havn´t combos and is a strong hit with much superpause.

10) In the Tiger Crush the first anim have much time. When sagat it´s elevating, it´s the first sprite yet.

11) Like the Tiger Uppercut, lacks the sound of the tiger´s roar.

12) The Hyper Tiger Shoot (i don´t know his name) have a low superpause, why the others supers have more?.

13) The Hyper: Down, Back, X+Z it´s very good, just I think that have a low superpause.

14) In the Hyper: Down, Fwd, b+c, the Hyper Portait it´s in the screen much time.
I think that Sagat in this hyper should do ALL the hyper and not stop only in the Tiger Crush when he not touch the opponent or when the opponent it´s guarding.
When Sagat touch the opponent with the first Tiger Uppercut, he can´t touch the enemy with the second Tiger Uppercut.

15) In the Hyper: Down, Back, b+c, the Hyper Portait it´s in the screen much time.
I think that Sagat in this hyper should do ALL the hyper and not stop only in the Crouching Low Kick when he not touch the opponent or when the opponent it´s guarding.
When Sagat do the last movement of this Hyper I think that he drags much the opponent and this movement have much time hitting the enemy.

16) No Super attacks in the air??, I think that a one Tiger Uppercut or Tiger Crush in the air could be perfect.

17) In the Hyper: Down, Back, b+c, (IN THE AIR) the Hyper Portait it´s in the screen much time.
When Sagat do the last movement of this Hyper I think that he drags much the opponent and this movement have much time hitting the enemy.

18) When I do a super appears a Blue effect in Sagat (I don´t know the name of this effect). This effect never appear in the hypers

That's exactly how I felt when Sagat wasn't in MVC2..... Though now, this is a great release. While I agree with the majoity of things Redhot already mentioned, not all of them are nessecary of course. Here's what I have to say for him....

-Guard Push doesn't work in crouching guard state.

-Like Balrog, unless he's actually performing a air combo, he can't attack multiple times in the air. An he freezes after attacking in the air, just like Balrog, and leaves him open for attack.

-Like Redhot said, with the taunt. It feels like he should say something. Like.... "Hmph!" when he taunts in CvS2.

-All of his Kick hypers kinda start too slow. They're not very easy to chain from a combo. Though, it isn't that big of a deal really. That's your preference if you want to speed them up a bit.

-He should have Crouching Tiger Cannon as well.

He can't cancel Hypers with specials, so that's all good. This is a great release Scar, thank you for this.  :)

he seems almost too quick for a guy like sagat. He seems almost on par with chun-li.

his laughing winpose (the one where he crosses his arms) is kinda buggy. in the middle of it he goes back to his standing animation, then goes back to the winpose.

that last tiger uppercut in his QCF+PP hyper would look radtacular with a flaming tiger or something on it ;)

I haven't been able to play with Sagat MVC because whenever I try to extract the files it tells me that it is damaged. Anyone else having this problem? :'(
