why not donate one of your many unfinished WIPs?
or why not use one of the many formulas Sei did for us?
instead of starting from scratch? or doing a char that is irrelevant?
do you trust the community enough?
we can use your templates, base formulas, palettes, style etc.
it could be the start of something great? you could lead the new blood into the right path!

I would contribute probably.
Personally i find it easier to sprite the male form.
If DC i suggest pulling an idea from Elseworlds or Tangent.....
If Marvel... I say we do a version of Mysterio, or maybe one of the original Thunderbolts, like Citizen V?

I think the idea of merging people in a common project is great. It is supose that we are a comunity and there a good examples of great chars done by a team. You can count on me .. and my mediocre skills.

if we choose blackbolt, he will look different, his details on the chest will look more accurate. I got some things I was working on that we can use for him but lets see what others want. plus for a team hyper I got some things too that I was working on ( lockjaw)...

its pretty close to the one I posted.. it can work for sure. just not feeling the boots and arms.. it can be merged with the other one and we can use the details and head.. I can make a head sheet and details sheet too if we can go with this.. is there a version of mysterio using those boots and arms? if so then we can keep those too.. we need more opinions on this but im game for this...
at black dragon, that can work too just need resizing on the body but we can make it all work.. I can help with resizing issues too.

I see Mysterio and Blackblot are the main candidates. I think Mysterio is a classic foe that deserves to be mugenized but maybe he isn't the kind of foe that fights, like Enigma. And Blackbolt .. I'm not really into Inhumans.
Let me suggest some other names I think might be attractive:
- Kraven. Have you read "Kraven's last hunt"? My favourite Spiderman comic-book. Kraven was also part of the Sinister six and I think he might have more interesting moves.
- Sebastian Shaw. Few characters from X-men are left but this one is an important one. There are some WIPs already but I don't know if they are active. Though his shirtless version is usually taken, maybe Demitri could be also used.
- Ra's Al Ghul. You all know he is, besides Joker, one of Batman main foes. Fron84 did an attempt using Shinnosuke Kagami as base and it looked very good.
- Mandarin. I can't understand how this char is unfinished. It's half done in Github and none has taken it yet. Even if we vote to make a new one instead of finishing one, we may try to start Mandarin again.
Actually, I would also vote for finishing some char first. Maybe Mandarin or Toyman (Cormano explicity asked for help). That might be helpful to consolidate the team before starting a bigger project.

Mysterio is good and I've been struggling to find a good base for him in the past 3-4 years. I wanted a base that would allow me to create the comics version of him. I see verz showed Twelve. Twelve is a nice base, but as I said already, it's very limited.
These are my old sprites of him (http://s23.postimg.org/4onirv0yj/mys.gif). It's nothing wow, but this is as far I could get. I used Adon, Doom and a head made by Batzarro. He gave me permission. Even tho, if you want to start this wip, you need better base or bases.

@sky79, ok so lets get this going... personally I think mysterio should be the character to make.. I think is an easy wip. if I vote that's my choice.. I don't want to work on a wip that's almost done because it takes away from the purpose of this.. as for coder, we are too early for that. but the coder should be someone or a group that can make a cool playstyle. im no coder here so I cant help on this part. so so far, bdc, whiplash and ark are so far the ones that can help on this.. maybe big O and electro can help as well, not sure but still early for any coding.. so those of you that are helping post here your choices but choose one so we can narrow this better..

@ hyper, yes u can help with what you can for sure. Anything of help it's great even ideas for moves and all that. I got a bunch already too but it's best to choose the best ones and go to work from there. I went around to see shows and games and the amount of things we can do are endless. I'm already working on a stance for him. Will try to put together a smart pal to follow and a main look as well. Those of you that can't do capes, just leave your work without them and either I or somebody that is good with that can finish them. I'll try to work on a head sheet as well with different angles. We can work this wip in many ways. If there is somebody good at one thing, then that person can do all that work. For example, if you are good with making the gauntlets then you can tackle them and this saves other spritters time. Anyways let's get to work and see what happens.

got bad news guys. last weekend had a computer crash and lost all my work. had many things that I don't know if I could ever get them back. lost my work on doc, spiderwoman, mysterio, warmachine, blackbolt, capbucky new things, and many other things that you guys don't even know I had, work from friends that left their work on my hands to finish. its really sad and I don't know what im going to do. don't want to retire but at the same time don't have the drive to start over.. so ill take some time and see how things go. sorry again to those that have enjoyed my work.
Take your computer for assistance technique, they can recover all your files, or most of them
