Seth Killian, who used to be the community manager during the early years of SFIV and MvC3 has joined with a new company to develop Rising Thunder, a fighting game that replaces complex controller motions with single button presses. The idea is to have the depth of strategy that a SF game would have but to remove the barriers to learning the game in the first place.
Anyone download the free alpha demo yet?

Good news: It's a solid fighter: the perfect bridge to introduce people interested in getting into fighting games.
Bad news (for me): Wow, I suck at fighting games apparently.
