in japan the game is practically finished due to many tournaments for it existed back in the day. but strangely the game was incomplete on the mame.....
-
There was also supposed to be an X-Men game for Sega 32X(addition for genesis) It never saw the light of day, I remember reading a small article about that in a magazine once. They showed the box art and maybe a screenshot(don't quote me on the screenshot).
I believe it was a playstation magazine that had like a five page article chronicling the history of X-Men games. A very bad rendition of Wolverine was on the cover.

Lol, Fighting Layer was a Namco version of Street Fighter EX. Was made by the same people, AKIRA. Hell, it even has Blair and Allen it.

Garou: Mark of the Wolves 2... \-/o

I never knew about the game. ^^(PM)^ @-)
but maybe Capcom might bring back Capcom Fighting All-Stars (or at lease those two characters) because Capcom brought back Ghosts 'n Goblins series (as Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins), Street Fighter series, and VS series.
I remember hearing about Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins around 1996, and I thought that one got canceled, but all the sudden Capcom released Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins! @-) @-) @-) (I have the game with me, and I like it!)

That alone is whole other sad story 8=|. its looking grim right now for console release :(. Luckily i got to see it up close at chinatown fair arcade here in NY before it closed. Man the game looked great man and folks were really jamming on it like they were jammim on SSF4 AE there @-). SNK is havin some in house issues. The lead producer of KOF 13 quit er somethin like that. so right now things are in the air and they need someone to publish it for consoles. 12 is what the final dagger was. I mean from the rumors i heard 12 is actually kof 13 bit unfinished. So that game may possibly be in this thread too :-SS. BUT lets hope not! [-O<
eh anyway carry on peeps ::salute::

You're right. People had to cancel the game due to the content.
I remember what happened to the Spider-man movie.

Superman 64 PSX Remake (2000)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AULYN6QNZM&feature=player_embedded# (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AULYN6QNZM&feature=player_embedded#)
After the failure of the N64 version, Titus decided to completely redesign Superman for the PlayStation. When the game was finished it received approval from Sony, but the license from Warner Bros. had expired and Titus was unable to secure a new one. The game was never released. Given an exclusive look at the game, playstationmuseum.com stated that they had expected the worst, but they were pleasantly surprised by the "high quality graphics and animation" and awarded the game a rating of 90%.
