The top of her hair needs to move also, not just the bottom portion, it's very choppy movement right now in the hair. Needs to look more fluent or bouncy. If one part of hair moves, usually the rest has to move.
Would also help if her legs moved a little.

It looks like Phoenix (MvC3), I copied the code for Kong Magneto (MvC2). She pushes stones with telekinesis.
Jean jumps into the air with psychic spikes also land normal akuma hadouken (CvS2), before I tried drawing with two pictures of the bodies.

Yeah, but she's not being portrayed as Jean Grey, she is being potrayed as Phoenix. All her attacks are fire-based. You see a Phoenix costume, you think Phoenix Force. I mean, even her code name Phoenix costume looks a lot like the Jim Lee except with a different color scheme and the boots and knee pads are seperated from the suit.
