Mystique is one of my favorites chars, so i begged to code her some time ago, i made fews edits to TP' mystique, but he take a different way, anyway it is past, i still have my ideias to her and in mugen community if u cant wait more for one wip, do it yourself...

Which IMO looks way better.thats right, i have 20 sprites, enough to call it a wip, usually im comic acurate, but i saw somes images where mystique have wings or spikes, or defense where she make her skin solid (like colossus), i dont like this ideias, mystique to me should be a assassin + some movies' acrobatics kiks, for her mutant powers will use intros/winposes/taunt a hyper like spiral, somes moves where she turn in another mystique forms, like foxx or movie version and i have one ideia to special, but dont know if its possible....

Hey, Z...why not do here similar to Rogue? My understanding on her powers is that 1) once she touches someone she can then basically turn into them (personality, look, the whole shebang...minus scent as Wolvie has made obvious many times...) and 2) (and I'm a little confused on this one) that she can also mimic powers of someone she changes into...but only to a certain extent? I dunno...at first I thought she could only duplicate APPEARANCE and MAYBE personality...but lately I've been seeing her us other's powers too...so I dunno...but if you do want to make her like Rogue you could just give her 2 or 3 moves and transformations of other mutants and she only stays in that form for the one move then changes back. But then again, like you said her most dangerous skills have always been her assassin skills...she dont need to touch the enemy, and she only use powers to fool the enemy

A cool thing to have with her would be a taunt that would change depending of the character she faces (i think this is do-able right ?), like turning i don't know into silver fox when facing wolverine, madelyne when facing cyclops... Would involve lot of spriting (well that could be a thing opened to forum submissions maybe ?) but would be a nice touch in my opinion.
Also i agree on focusing on her assassin skills, she usually only uses her power to distract/trick her foe, so a limited usage of it is better.
Anyway will be patiently waiting to see more of her, good luck ^^

I'm a newbie here, but I follow the IMT forum for a month more or less, and it's my first post.
I've been thinking about Mystique's abilities and powers, and I've some (luckily good) ideas:
- She is very acrobatic, like Black Widow, so the main movement set should show it:
- She is a expert terrorist: Guns are welcome
- Her mutant power MIMICS another person... it can be nice if pressing 3Punches or 3Kicks Mystique changes her basic moveset from Mystique only to "copy moves". Copy moves can be done

It's nice to see Elena being used rather effectively! That move does work perfectly for the assassin that you are trying to portray Mystique as. Nice hair animation as well. I look forward to seeing what other under used bases you may use for her. In fact I may have one or two that I've used for Ivy that may be useful, however they do take more work due to the bases.

shapeshift works against ALL mugen chars with anim 220.
if char have anim 220 works perfectly, else she do a normal kick.
so no bugs.
im not good with % in mugen... but im sure she will not be released this year.

sabretooth, how about greydon creed he should be easy to sprite with foh banner on his arm.
also if I'm not too bold there's tons of comic chars or marvel chars out there and it's a lot a work for z. how about doing similar to what they did for the comunity batman project and everybody who feels inclined can toss something zvitor's way so he can more than one choice to morph from (maybe set on random) when she faces whoever?

I don't know why, but I think it would be cool if you gave her the axe kick (that's what I call it). The one where you hold your leg against your chest then drop it down with devastation. Maybe you can start it the same but when it comes to shattering you could use the Tatsunoko vs Capcom shattering effect. I'm pretty sure someone uploaded it in the Open Source section. =Pthanks will incress that size, the TvC effect dont have the bullet hole in screen, is a cool effect, but not what i want.
guess she got her get hits done cuz wolvy is wupping up on her just a tad.not all yet, somes are cloned just for not show stick template in screen.

I'm sure spriting from Luna was a huge pain, just looking at the sprites is evidence enough but it really pays off, especially in that crouching shoot pose.

Cyclops could also have Vulcan as well for the other Cyclops maybe. Madelyne Pryor for one and Vulcan for the other. Sinister or Apocalyse could also be good for Cyclops as well.
Cable could have Stryfe.
Bishop could have Deathbird.
Dazzler could have Longshot, unless he's in the project [-O<
Jubilee could have Sentinels lol.

Are you going to rotate through the transformations when she is dizzy (going from mystique to cyclops to wolverine, etc) or will there be a different person for every time she gets dizzy?
