probably ken would be a better counterpart For ironman.
if you ask me maybe wolverine would be a better counterpart for akuma, as for chun-li definitly miss marvel and another one that i can think of is captain america vs guile

if i got to choose title match ups for a game or screen pack here what i'd pick=

wolverine vs ryu (always gonna be the title match up)
black widow vs crimson viper (spy vs spy)
drdoom vs mbison = (very bad villians)
ironman vs guile (tech vs soldier)
captain america vs rolento (good soldier vs evil merc)
hulk vs ken (this totally suits ken = the bigger the better)
dr strange vs gen (they totally rival each other in the power stakes)
scarlet witch vs rose (magic touch)
magneto vs chun li (she always gonna take on the baddest villians, not some female counterpart)
iron fist vs fielong = (just coz they totally reflect each other)
luke cage vs cody = (coz they are both out of jail street brawlers )
daredevil vs balrog (coz i keep seeing daredevil vs kingpin there)
sabretooth vs zangeif (sabretooth's probably the closest to a grizzly)
black panther vs blanka
psylocke vs ibuki
blackheart vs dhalsim
archangel vs vega
quicksilver vs guy
thor vs sagat (warrior on warrior)
spider-man vs birdie (spidey always beating up thuggery)
iceman vs thawk
gambit vs deejay (both underworld, and see that as a reason to meet/fight)
deadpool vs dan (dan's just stupid enough to challenge him)
cable vs gouki (cable just attracts powerful evil, it's totally got it's own story)
juggernaut vs cammy (david and goliath stuff =nuff said)

You may want to work on the portraits. The names get flipped on the P2 side.
