for all i know is they better not replace marth with Ike. even if the two look a lot alike marth had flair and could outdo any strong opponent with sheer technique, speed, and strength. i hope they dont take him away. roy i dont mind him going even though im a bit of a fan because Ike will most like likely play something like roy

if you call easily executed spikes technique :

Roy will most likely be replaced. He was an advertisement for the new Fire Emblem game at the time.

the pokemon trainer sounds cool, it kinda reminds me of marvel vs. capcom:

Way off. I think it was 6 and he made a brief cameo in 7.

He will be. Along with Falco. Sakuri said they are the only returning clone characters, only this time, they won't be clones. They will have a moveset of their own.

I heard this somewhere else, so it may be just a rumor. But hey, believe what you want to believe. That's what I always say.

Roy appears in Fire Emblem VI: Fuin no Tsurugi for the GameBoy Advance and appears as a kid in Fire Emblem VII: Rekka no Ken in the end of the game, by the time Super Smash Bros. Melee was being made, FE: VI was the comeback of the FE series and the first FE to appear in a Handheld console, to promote the game, Roy was planned to appear in the Japanese version of Smash Bros, Along Marth, a Main Lord character who has appeared twice in the Fire Emblem games and the Anime.

Fuin no Tsurugi has been released and Roy's duty to promote the game is done, Now Fire Emblem IX and X share the same Main Lord Character, Ike, in order to promote these New Games, Ike's being added to the Brawl Roster, And Will Very Possibly replace Roy, Seeing that Ike's another Heavy Weight Character just as Roy was.
