Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

you know what? when i first heard about this game i was like totally exited... but then the news about the game started to appear... first of all: the TvC controlls??? f**k!! just horrible... the cast... i don't know but tron and x23... just  .. it's like in SSFIV they added yun and yang... oops...
i think that MvC3 will be the worst dissapointing game of 2011...

Theres a lot of crying in here. Besides theres two control schemes so even the scrubs can play if TvC controls are too hard.

Tron is a classic MvC2 character, and girl wolverine is better than bone/metal wolverine or whatever they did last time. Still not as good a choice as someone like Deathstrike, though. 

I'll admit I was disappointed when I heard it would have light/medium/fierce instead of two punches and two kicks.

i don't know nothing about that game... i'm not a gamer, you know? i just like the capcom fighting games and the MvC series (with X-men COTA and Marvel Superheroes) was the reason i entered MUGEN... so really this game is totally a disappionting thing to me... and yes... the wii controls for ps3 and xbox

@zero: i don't care much abut the capcom chars... i really just love the SF series and a lil about Darkstalkers and also i despise the megaman series in MvC like i said before, and the reason i pay the MvC series is because  i'm a marvel fan and i don't love the cast yet... and x23... i mean, there are a lot of great heroines in the marvel universe...

Mika?? are you for real?? and i don't think i'm gonna love the new chars, i was expecting the marvel knights and neither Daredevil, Punisher or Ghost Rider make it to the game

If it makes you feel better Ghost Rider was the closest to getting in.

Plus the possibility of DLC is still out there, since they never said there won't be any

I'm all for more unique characters, so so far the roster is looking pretty nice too me. X-23, or whatever the betch's name is looks like she plays ALOT like Wolvie though from what I've seen.

Then again, so would Sakura Kasugano, Tiffany Lords, Hyo Iwamono, Black Hayato, Karin Kanzuki, Captain Blue, Sexy Silvia, John Talbain, Rikuo Alubath, Baby Bonnie Hood, Axl, Hawkeye, Mockingbird, Ultimate Spider-Man, Punisher 2099, Titania, She-Hulk, Dr. Octopus, Hammerhead, Urien, Gill, and Seth.

Well, that's undeniable.  X-23 is a pretty poor attempt at fan-service.  In my opinion, nothing written by marvel in the past decade should be included in the game... Marvel's writing has been kinda suckish...

Still, maybe Cammy's potential slot will be given to a better Capcom character.  Like, dare I say... Strider Hiryu?

Out of all the fan-favorites from MvC2 (Jin, Cap Commando, Hayato, and Strider) I think that Hiryu is the most likely to return.  I personally REALLY wish that Cap made a return (I love the character, and he's great to play as) but he pretty much faded into obscurity after his game didn't do too well (for some reason; I actually prefer it to Final Fight)

Jin has no chance of making it back; I doubt that most gamers even know what cyberbots IS these days.  Also, his brand of fighting is only cool in the 90's 

Same deal with Hayato.  Star Gladiator wasn't all that popular, though it was still a great game.

Stirder is still pretty unlikely, but he stands the best chance as he actually had a rather popular franchise that fans legitimately want a sequel for.  I still doubt it though, because as mentioned before, retro characters in this game are looking pretty rare.  Hence why we get Chris instead of Jill.  In fact, Tron seems to be the most retro character as of now xD
