i hope they dont have pheonix wright in it, frank west n roll is proly already gonna be in this. and theres already a damn dog in this n so far looks like he has cheap moves!?   it seems like there stickin wit chars from more recent games instead of older classic capcom games. so far marvel roster is sick!  capcoms not so much my opinion. besides dante n chris.   but still........ Strider Jin and Commando NEED to be in this! im too impatient i wanna know!

Dude from Onimusha is a cool idea. I was thinking about that too, but dante seems to have the "cool with a sword" thing covered nicely. In my ever so humble opinion, I could do without the three you mentioned...as long as some other cool characters take their slots.

Like Bionic Commando...to me, he's worth more than Strider, Jin, and Commando combined.

i already see this is gonna be a cheese fest in the form of mvc 2 and for me thats a good thing. cheap or not, competition is competition. and i like breaking the will of all those magneto , and sentinel player or just the guys hiding behind help characters. this game looks you'll only be able to do that to a degree, which is also a big plus!! so now all the dirtbag mvc2 players gotta nut up or shut up !! the other good side is now that all characters has access longer and more even combo string there wont be any characters left out in the cold combo wise ala mvc 2. example: venom was a thug in mvc1, part two with the control scheme, he was a shodw of his former self him and black heart had to rely on poke tactics to get by if they was left as the last person on screen . but can't wait until the rest of the roster surfaces!! can't wait til they debut spidey !!!

No. Captain Commando is too awsome to leave out of this game. Also, he was my fav/best char in MVC2.

frank west, and pheonix wright are not going to be in the game. was already stated.  new characters are going to be revealed this month and after this month from what i read on a site by one of the creators that silver surfer is a confirmed character and so is dormamu but doesnt say if he is a playable character or not.

I thought it was announced a while back that Frank would be appearing in a TON of fighters from here on out (until further notice) as the Japanese seem to love him so much...or maybe it was the west (us) that loved him...or something to that degree...I read that somewhere or maybe I heard it somewhere not sure...

Capcom, of course, is denying the list's authenticity. Wes Phillips, Capcom's PR Manager, has posted a denial to his Twitter account: "These supposed "final" MvC3 character lists are inaccurate. No one has nailed it thus far."

Several characters on the list, including Mr. Fantastic and Emma Frost, were also previously denied by the MvC3 development team.


now from what i have read on some sites about the legitnacy of frank west being in mvc3. he is always on the unconfirmed list. and going by the sillouets is definetly something not to go by. look at Trish and ameratsu. no one at all knew Trish.  was gonna be in. so like capcom has stated, the supposed list going around the net is not their confirmed list and scrapped the list they did have. so now real info seems like its gonna be coming straight from them and not internet second string reporters. I am not here to make news points tho just stating what i have found instead of wish lists. other that... MUGEN RULES!!

i know, i think thats what they want. everyone to be up in choas about who gonna be in and out. showing shadows of people and then puting people that either didnt have any shadows or changed them. i got dante in so after that i really dont care who they really put in after him. everyone else is a bonus or i aint using them.

yeah i saw hat ...; wayy back but had no names associated with it so no one actually knew that was her, could have been anyone just like frank wesk could wesker. ya know. plus, thats not the final poster either and very well could change. we got a whole year before it hits. but as for me, i am not evenm trying to guess. i wouldnt want my hopes up high based on a shadow and then when game done and my character not in i was wishing for i be all upset. but i do see your point and its well taken .

oh i am sure you didnt edit that poster whip. but i mean i have seen it long ago when there was no names listed on it. as there are others. i was just as well pointing out that i found something that others may have either not seen or overlooked ya know. i will only believe a character is in when capcom says they are in and confirmed. i got my wish list too as others do but i just refuse to go by shadows as evidense no matter who they seem to look like. capcom surely has its tactics and will change up real quick if stuff gets leaked a lil too much. If i had a game coming out and too much info got leaked out and ya knew my full roster, then 2 things will happen, if i dont have the characters you might wanted to come back in and its more rehash then you might not buy it, or if i do have peeps you wanted in you might buy it.  its a mind game really.  capcom mis gonna play thats card and if it gets too disrupted, best bet they gonna change up and find a way to still keep your interest.

It wouldnt blow my mind seeing how they confirmed there will be 1 more SF villain and 1 RE villain. No tyrants means you've got Wesker(HUGE fanbase and THE re main villain) Krauser ( of people like him too) and Sadler. So the odds are in  Weskers favor. And as far as sf villains You have Gill, Urien, Bison, Balrog, Vega, Seth, Juri, and 12. Popularity wise there its between Bison, Seth, or Juri.

Viewtiful Joe - Worst capcom character on tvc makes his appearance on mvc3 for some reason.

How is it that the Viewtiful Joe game is good enough to warrent a character on the game, when games as good as Dino Crisis, Final Fight, Ghost N Goblins, Forgotten Worlds, Three Wonders and Magic Sword don't get characters?

Next thing you'll be getting Pheonix Wright, Megaman X and Zero.... This game is going to disapoint unless they buck their ideas up..

They are going to include characters that a lot of people recognise and that are current
Half of those games you mentioned I've never heard of, and I'm 21. The target audience for most games is 17-25. It's a smart move in terms of advertising other games and grabbing gamers attention for recent games.

Unlike Marvel Capcom's characters are not necessarily timeless and they have to change with the current trends. Sure there may be some retro characters but I bet this game is catering more towards newer, current and popular characters.

And tbh, gameplay is better than character choices. If one character doesn't get in then the game isn't ruined! There moveset may be represented elsewhere E.g Jill into Frank West
