I've been planning this one since I first found out Hammerhead was in the works.

Man, did this go through a lot of drafts - even the background took forever to decide on. It didn't help that Nova's unique rogues gallery is somewhat lacking...

I finally got a use out of this stage! It's more zoomed in than I'd prefer, but the giant skull works nicely.

I figured it was time Marvel's First Family got to do more on a cover than just pose...

I've wanted to do a pirate cover for a while. I know lots of publishers have released Phantom comics, but I went with Charlton just for the novelty.

Been a while since I did one of these, and I'm easing my way back into it.

This went through a lot of drafts, many of them more action-oriented, but after my more light-hearted Spirit cover, I wanted to do something with a very different tone, and something that would appropriately trigger lots of questions as to what exactly is going on here.

And yes, that is supposed to be Lady Shiva, one of the Question's trainers.

I didn't dare believe we'd get a Shadow in MUGEN so soon, but I've been planning a pulp cover (even changed my usual dimensions for the sake of accuracy) just in case - and much to my surprise and delight, I can now actually do something with it!

I was still easing my way back into making these when I did this one. Wally West has had a lot thrown at him lately, and even in my first Wally-era cover, he didn't fare so well. So to make it up to him...

But now, I'm ready to try something a bit more ambitious and impressive-looking. Plus, I've been planning it for years.

I enjoyed making the Avengers one with the Taskmaster so much, I wanted to do something with a similar flavor.

Finally, a Thor cover I'm truly happy with. I thought about having more characters at the bottom, but it seemed more dramatic if Thor was facing Surtur alone.

I finally started using Golden Age cover dimensions, rather than trying to keep them all uniform. The Harlequin is obviously a quick and dirty palette of Harley Quinn.

I've wanted to do a cover from the Justice League's "Bwa ha ha" days of the 1980s, mostly as an excuse to get to use some DC characters I haven't had the chance to work with yet.

Also. another Daredevil cover, although after all this time, I'm finally using Elektra! I was originally going to leave the Hand off of this cover, but it seemed to boring without them.

Last but not least, another manga style cover - something else I haven't done in a while.

Special thanks to Fron's Ms. Marvel edit for this one!

Also, another Wonder Woman cover - been wanting to do a Bronze Age one for a bit.

I was originally gonna have Strange fight a villain or monster, but having him confront his past selves - arrogant surgeon, homeless wanderer, and his earliest incarnation as a mystic superhero seemed a more artistic choice, and made it more distinct from other covers I've done.

Nothing fancy for this latest one, but pretty cool nonetheless, if I do say so myself.

I've done plenty of artistic covers lately - time for another good ol' fashioned slugfest! Plus, another entry for Image! Originally, it was just going to be Invincible and Omni-Man, but it felt more dramatic adding a fallen Atom Eve.

Another dramatic action-free cover.

It's not easy finding characters I can turn into Wonder Woman's "better than given credit for" rogues gallery, but Ramaya makes a pretty good Circe as originally designed by the late George Perez in his re-imagining of the Wonder Woman mythos.

Now having done lots of modern covers lately, so back to the DC Silver Age!

This one was harder to do than I expected, especially dealing with resolution issues with Obadiah Stane and finding good characters to palette swap into Stane's chessmen henchmen. (It also originally had text, which would have identified Stane, but it looks better and less cluttered without it.)
