They doesn't "feel Mega Man" to me. Yeah, I am a very nostalgic guy.
i get ya and at its core MM is jump, shoot and platforming. for this reason i like all in the main timeline but the Zero saga. Anyway this is about O. I agree with ya, You can't go wrong with the classic series.

 I hope your distaste doesn't remove you from speaking on Tron when i start with her. I really value your word so it would be greatly appreicated.

But in all seriousness the game that was build with megaman mvc characters before RMM had meta be.....it could work but not now. If some one had slowcars meta be then that would probably open the idea more. But its a teams decision and tho im open to it i dont support this or any guest characters.

In my opinion I'd like to stay with The Classic Megaman, Classic Game boy Megaman, Wily Wars, Megaman X, and Tron.

I think if we want a guest character, it has to be someone with a lot of physical resemblances to the original Megaman, and prefferably someone who is the main character of his game and someone who had a crossover before. Vectorman would look weird, and already a good version of him has been done into MUGEN. By the way, all of those robots are canon, and as far as I'm concerned, every Capcom-endorsed Megaman game has been canon.

Also I'll go back to Jewelman next week, I haven't worked on him because I'm busy.

By the way, all of those robots are canon, and as far as I'm concerned, every Capcom-endorsed Megaman game has been canon.

The Wonderswan game, the two MS-DOS games and that Korean strategy game are all endorsed by Capcom but are not canon. Same with the PSX FMV game.

Besides the main numbered titles, are canon only the five Game Boy games, the two Arcade games, Wily Wars and Megaman & Bass.

For sure Centaurman would be a cool character to have, because he is unique. But to sprite him won't be an easy task.

I had sprited Centaurman a long time ago but I stopped halfway through. I sent those to Trasgo7 but I don't know if he still have them.

My idea for a guest character, which I still wouldn't consider doing for a long time, would be add in Lou from Three Wonders / Midnight Wanderers.
I made him, he's small like the other Megaman characters and is a Capcom character. 
There are more sprites from years ago that are already made which were not included with the current Lou release.
This includes different weapon projectile sprites made after the different weapons that appeared in the game.
There's also sprites for two helpers to run in carrying a treasure chest to drop the weapon for you.

The power battle version is to small.  He would need to be bigger.

Here is the power battle size in comparison to Megaman.
 

This is the sprite I made for him a long time back, using the power battle sprite as a base..


Here is my sprite size in comparison to Megaman MVC.  Honestly, I think he could still be taller. 

Edit:
If I ever tinkered more with sprite I made I'd try to enlarge his lower half some and his legs next.  Then I'd probably get the height I'm thinking.

The one I had done had about that size. I actually resized it's sprites and cleaned up the rough edges.

Pray that Trasgo7 shows up again and gives us some news on this.

On wikia it says that CentaurMan is 155 cm (5.09 feet) tall and Megs is 132 cm (4'4"). It's like MegaMan's head top would be right under CentaurMan's chin... Some proportions are messed somewhere... :-??

In my humble opinion, he should be that tall. We already have too much characters out of proportion (like almost every one being of the same height).
