You can add Super Smash Bros. Melee, League of Legends, and Overwatch among those things.

Yes, a lot of things. I just haven't added Mega Man to that list YET because I loved that game when I was a kid. I had a Master System, then I can't play that game so I had to use my imagination and draw robot masters with pencil and paper.

But you can find lots of my posts here where I laughed the way Capcom treated Mega Man fans :)

Now I have a question: How COMPLETE mode should work?

a) Works like the story mode, but with all characters unlocked - so you have to choose a route to follow
b) All characters unlocked too, but you would play the ENTIRE game - even if you choose a route, you would need to play the other automatically when the first route ends. Basically, the route has no use.

Any thoughts? I do like more the A option, because B (like it is now) would make the playthrough too long.

Yes. The difference is that you will be able to choose any of the available characters, but will still need to choose a route to follow, to fight all the bosses.
Plus, this mode won't be available in the first time you beat the game. Because you would need to beat the game, at least, twice.

Look at "Streets of Rage remake". It too had the SAME issue of a VERY long game doing test/ development but in the final build they gave you route choice. They did have a different system in place for hidden characters tho

For something like this, A is the best option. The best example of this is Streets Of Rage Remake.



All characters unlock but you still choose which route you want to pick.

I've working on some fixes and reworking some old things.
One of the things I wanted to change was the Flamethrower enemy, which was an edit over Soldier.

Now he has unique sprites - can you remember from which game they come from? :)


I am not still sure about their size though. Maybe I can make them a little taller.

Now I can choose against which walls he bounces (like against the truck) and which ones he doesn't (like against those fences).

Thanks everyone! I am still polishing him, so some things could be changed on the process.

Some other ideas about Nightcrawler that I want to share:

  • He escapes from the Trapster's glue after sometime, teleporting above
  • Recovery from falls if you press A2
  • Will escape from holes, by teleporting above - and the user needs to control him to avoid to fall on the hole again
  • At Maggia's dark stage, the enemies won't see him - and won't try to attack him. Maybe unless you execute an offensive attack.

His main teleport move has some additional features:

  • If press A2, instead of block, he teleports
  • You can control there he will appear, using the directional
  • While jumping, you can press A2 to teleport too - and you can also control it
  • If you press down after the start of the move, he will move alongside the Z axis. But if you press down + A2 when you start the move, he will teleport towards the ground - so you can have a safe land in platforms, for example.

 
Nightcrawler will be one of those tricky chars that once you mastered it, he will be deadly.
